Stellla threatened! The thrilling conclusion.

To war!

Our heroes, Everywhere and Terrible [RLBAD], declared open conflict with the Grumpy Gus denizens of 7 White Horses [7WD] recently. Curious to see if she could take a retriever down without CONCORD interference, Stella punched in coordinates for Talidal. A quick scan of the mining belts betrayed resource gathering under a flag of war, a dangerous game. Her target located, she made haste to the belt, first approaching in her catalyst, then locking and firing. Antimatter flew as the retriever withered before Stella's onslaught. She had her answer. The extra point.

Bystanders reported that as Stella relaxed in station after the carnage, a corpmate of Valorea's stood watch in a battlecruiser just outside the undock. This continued for a while. One imagines someone's balls were likely a smurfy hue.

Days later, Stella encountered yet another retriever. Curiously, the media remains silent on this particular incident (no zkillboard link, sorry. I'm new at this). I forget the pilot's name, but this one was surely more beloved than Valorea. [ed. Genghis Solette was the victim's name] This became apparent as the CEO confronted Stella once more, saying she was "in over her head". This message was received as Stella spent an impressive 8 hours reading trashy romance novels in station, to the frustration of at least two of the 7 White Horses.

This ominous warning foreshadowed what I consider to be an attempt at excessive force. The miners had enlisted the help of none other than P I R A T to defeat what had become a thorn in their side after vaporizing a mere two mining vessels. Overreaction? I'd say.

DANGER! The image linked here contains profanity and meanness. The tenderhearted and fain of constitution are advised against viewing. Behold!

Terrified, fearing for her very pixels, Stella took... a nap. Later that night she located the corp's POS in Talidal. It was highly fortified and far beyond her ability to assault. No doubt it stands to this day.

Weary from battle Stella took a brief vacation to celebrate her victory.

Legal Disclaimer: No Stella's were harmed during the aforementioned adventures.

TL;DR Several failed gank attempts on my part due to stupidity turn into a glorious fountain of tears and a sweet killmail.

I was on routine patrol in Tarta looking for CODE violators when I happened upon a Retriever taking our ore without a permit. I warp in, but since he was orbiting the 'roid I was about 5km away, out of range for my Light Neutron Blasters. Didn't realize that until I opened fire. After a quick debate with CONCORD, they elected not to give me a do-over so I was popped while only getting him 10% into structure. Warp to station, pull CONCORD, warp back to base and reship and wait. Then the Evemails start. Really long story slightly shorter, he says he's got killrights and will use his battleship to hunt me down. Yada, yada, yada. Warp back to belt, this time get right on his tail before blasting him. Oh crap. CONCORD wasn't pulled after all. Guess there was some other ganks in that system and I didn't pull the RIGHT CONCORD squad. CONCORD 2, Me 0. Warp to station and wait out my timer. Fly my rookie ship to a POCO 70,000km from the belt and shoot. That'll pull CONCORD for sure. Meanwhile this clown thinks his invincible Retriever is God-Tanked and let's me know all about it. I warp back to base and reship again. Wait out another timer. The whole time I keep him in a priv convo because I gotta show him that CODE always wins.

Since he never even repaired his ship I had time to gank him and his pod then make a sandwich before CONCORD showed up.

A few Evemails telling him to meet me back at the belt. I scan him down and see he now sporting a shiny, new Drake Navy Issue. Sure why not. I throw an ECM and a MWD on my Catalyst and figure, what the hell, maybe I can get under his guns. Warp to the belt and he locked me and just talked, and talked, and talked in local.

Blue Republic Director pleads to CODE. for help because we are griefing them too hard.

You may not be aware but recently everyone's favorite highsec mercenary alliance; Break-A-Wish foundation has been pounding the living crap out of Red Federation and Blue Republic . Having destroyed numerous POCOs belonging to the alliance and beating their 60 man ferox fleet they appear to have lost their will to fight and recently began to plead for help to basically every conceivable highsec PVP entity which is of course hilarious. We recieved this mail from your friendly neighborhood CODE. director who received this mail from a member of the RVB leadership.

Unfortunately for us, any time one of us moves they run and hide or ship into guardian heavy fleets.

Would you guys be interested in knowing our timers for some easy bling fit ganks? If so what would you need from us and when would you like the timers set. Right now we’re in the process of setting them to Siberian primetime, for added salt, but if you are game, we’d change them to your preference. FYI the mercs in question are Break-A-Wish Foundation with the occasional hangers on of Marmite (they failed to show up almost entirely).

We'd actually spent most of the day camping blue into their home station with like 4 people while they did absolutely nothing at all about and just sat there cowering. That's probably what prompted this particular outburst of anal devastation.

I like how they simeltaneously don't care about their POCOs (which they clearly kind of don't since they have them set at zero tax) but also really want help saving them.

You may not be aware but recently everyone's favorite highsec mercenary alliance; Break-A-Wish foundation has been pounding the living crap out of Red Federation and Blue Republic . So yet again RvB is being harassed by another group of Jita 4-4 fail mercs and as you know, high sec POCO’s aren’t really worth much, especially time. Because we aren’t actively defending them they’ve been rolling through in polarized faction/pirate battleships. Unfortunately for us, any time one of us moves they run and hide or ship into guardian heavy fleets.

Would you guys be interested in knowing our timers for some easy bling fit ganks? If so what would you need from us and when would you like the timers set. Right now we’re in the process of setting them to Siberian primetime, for added salt, but if you are game, we’d change them to your preference. FYI the mercs in question are Break-A-Wish Foundation with the occasional hangers on of Marmite (they failed to show up almost entirely).

This is my first war kill so I am sooooo stoked.

Ended up using the locater agent and found out where he was at but was 17 jumps from where I was, but was 3 jumps from where my newbro was flying around. I sent him to the system before where he was at to keep an eye on him but he inadvertently jumped into system with him. I had him on TS with me at the time.

Newbro: "Yeah, I see him here in local."
Morgan: "Um, I said jump to Attyn, not into system with him. Jump back out."
Newbro: "Um, okay."

A few moments later, he yells on the comms that they guy is following him. My first reaction is...oh great. My newbro is gonna get blown up and podded and I am 12 jumps away. So then I ask him if he sees his ship.

Newbro: "No, why?"
Morgan: "I want to know what he is flying if he is chasing you."
Newbro: "No, I don't kno....wait, he is here at the gate with me."
Morgan: "Warp off!"
Newbro: "Where to?"
Morgan: "Anywhere but there! Warp off! But what is he flying?" A few moments pass...
Newbro: "Ok, I am in warp. What is an Orca?"

I paused in utter disbelief. This guy was flying an Orca with an active war going on against him?

Morgan: "Orca." He replied yes. I started to giggle like a little schoolgirl while flying as fast as I could in my Hound.

I had to calm myself down. I knew that Orcas started at least 600m and that would be a nice war kill mail for me and my newbro. As the jumps started ticking down, I started to tell my newbro to follow him.

Newbro: "Um, his ship is big. Do I have to follow him?"
Morgan: "Most Orcas are not combat fitted. Just stay back and tell me where he is going."

I was getting closer as my buddy told me he jumped into Tar. I was really excited since I was two jumps out. For some reason, the guy was following my route but just going the other way. I warped to the gate when I saw him at the gate, slowboating towards the gate. THIS GUY WAS AFK PILOTING!

I locked on him and started to shoot at him. I had not pointed him since I was 14km away from him and I had a scram that only went 9km but I knew he wouldn't get away from me. Now, I had two issues that I then realized. First of all, I had no way to bump him off course towards the gate. And to do that, I would have needed a MWD, which my Hound had no prop mod whatsoever. After my third volley of Caldari Navy Torpedoes hit his shield, my newbro in his Merlin showed up just as I landed my scram on the Orca.

Morgan: "Ok, buddy, shoot that ship to your heart's content." He laughed and said his guns were going as I said that. We took down his shields pretty quick and started slamming his armor when I noticed that he was getting close to the gate. I knew we were running out of time since we agressed, I was watching the timer ticking down as he got closer and closer to the gate. I then started to overheat my torpedo launchers to try to burn him down.

We had him down to 52% structure when he jumped through the gate. Thankfully I didn't have voice activated speech cause I let out a string of curses from my US Coast Guard days over 25 years ago.

Newbro: "Where did he go?"

I growled in frustration. I had this damn Orca and it got away, even after overheating (thank you Thermodynamics V). As soon as the timer passed, I jumped into Pakhshi as fast as I could but he was nowhere to be found. I still saw him in local but I feared that he would disappear out of local without eyes on him.
