When you are about to use the in game browser. DON'T USE IT. Seriously, it will Freeze/ crash/ mostly freeze the game.
What you do is......change the widow setting of the game to to non-full window setting.
So you'll have the OSX's dashboard on the top or bottom, etc. This will enable you to copy the url and then paste it in any "REAL" web browser of your choice.
THIS WORKS IN SPACE, FLYING AROUND AS WELL.

Now, I have the multiple desktop feature enabled and this allows my Web Browser and Mail to be on one desktop.
While my iTunes, Mumble, and EvE are on another dedicated desktop.
Same Computer/Laptop.......different windows to view stuff in.
Produces less clutter when you press the F3 button and zoom out to view everything at once. Half the open program aren't open to me, but aren't minimized nor hiding behind 5 layers of different programing.
Just three finger swipe to the left or right and your good.

Now, when your done with the out of game Web Browsing, or using another program like mail or iTunes, etc; and are back to pew-pew mode,
You can then change the window setting again to full screen,
Press Apply
Change the UI focus to a different %,
Press Apply
Then change the UI focus to the desired %
Press Apply.......
And your back to full screen, typical sized UI that requires glasses to read depending on your preference.

Repeat if troubles......

BUT THERE'S MORE......

If the game freezes cause you clicked a link in game and the web browser freezes the game.......DON'T PANIC.
Press esc, pulls up the game settings menu.
Change the window size to non full screen.
Press Apply
Now you got the OSX's dashboard at your command including FORCE QUIT,
Which means a hard reboot of the whole Mac is not needed, just the EvE Client.....and not the launcher
THE LAUNCHER will have the incomplete program picture and not the official EvE ONLINE image.
The active client will have the official EvE ONLINE image not the launcher.
So FORCE QUIT the program with the official EvE ONLINE image when in the FORCE QUIT drop down window.

Now you have the launcher to start over from and press PLAY to pick a character, location in space doesn't matter.
On a Gate, coming through the Gate, in Warp, in Fleet, around Sleepers, etc, etc.
Pick up right where you left off without having to hard boot and close all the other programs you had running in background.
