This thread is not for whining, complaining, or even fixing FW. This thread is to discuss things that would be bada$$ in FW but not necessarily fix it.

Sorta like, bling for FW. We have been neglected so very long we deserve a little pretty shiney.

My ideas:

Militia uniforms that can be bought in the LP store. How awesome would that be? But each militia should have their own, I don't want to share with the Caldari or anything.

A new station in Huola. Amarr need something big and bright with lots of lights! We need our station to represent.

Only if we Minmatar get one too. One of those false-gravity spinning stations, and it needs to resemble a roll of duct tape from afar.

A CCP planned event or two wouldn't go amiss either. Some Amarrian general going a little gung ho... or a small second thukker tribe invasion. Perhaps if the Minmatar dig too much into Amarr space or vice Versa, something to disrupt the norm. Would be rad.

I am all for uniforms as well, although I do notice all the republic guy have that dust thing from the noble exchange.

Well it's quite clear here, CCP should appeal to the 13 year old player base with Factional Warfare.

Think about it, if you added in a Call of Duty rank up style and stats system (that runs separately from the game of course, with an extra subscription), with 100 levels to progress through (again and again through the 25 prestiges available), it would attract many new and old players alike to fight to the death and earn their rank ups.

And why stop at Faction Warfare? Have Alliances introduce the same system, with rewards and rank ups and even a LP store that must be funded by the alliance themselves! They could sell branded "Alliance" gear! And for the solo ganker and pirates, let them design their own medals and ranks to pin on their character. How about faction medals and badges for performing certain feats within battle, such as a wrecking hit for 5000 in a battleship?

The possibilities of consumer trickery are endless!

(Seriously though, I wouldn't mind stimulating Faction Warfare, and I wouldn't mind the above if it encouraged active fights. Of course it'd be more tailored to the eve universe, but let me explain how I'd think it through. I'd want everything to stimulate fighting and encourage new, fresh recruits of all ages (character wise) taking part. Best way to do it? Dangle a carrot on a stick in front of the players, and watch as they try to bite. You could have your character become more decorated by offering rewards such as a little badge beside their name, new clothes indicative of rank and race, and of course LP rewards. There could be incursion-like war "hotspots", where players would earn double points or a tidy sum of ISK if they fight as part of the militia (to discourage outsiders to the war). Perhaps even also add objectives that give bonuses to the holders, or penalties to the enemy; in these hotspots.)

(As long as it's implemented fairly, squarely, and encourages people to take part and motivates different types of combat, it will work. Also, yeah the first part was a total joke, I wouldn't want to see Factional Warfare butchered to that extent.)

Can't you find something else to do while you wait?

Paradise is like where you are right now, only much, much better.
