Nauplius is more than one of words and sacrifice of lesser genestock. This has been confirmed.

Something about "sinister sacrificial occult ritual performed for broadcast" doesn't seem like a good match to "tact and subtlety." More like "Bwahahahaha."

Lady Jenneth, it is true that the rite that Omir broadcast to the cluster just now appears to be more efficient in its use of bloodstock than my own rites. However, there is an important theological reason for this. The Blood Raider Covenant believes that the purest blood comes from clones, a source that happens to be comparatively rare. Therefore, they have reason to efficient in their use of blood, not being able to replace the purest blood so easily.

I on the other hand believe that even the blood of the filthiest Minmatar slave may by sacred and magical rite be transubstantiated into the most worthy of sacrifices unto a holy and righteous God. Since slaves are available in quantity and since there is no limit to my power to transubstantiate the blood of said slaves, I have little need to be efficient in my blooding of them.

I hope this clarification has been helpful.

Also confirmed is that Blood Raider maggots squirm in the same pile of filth. Saying that Ser Nauplius is anything but a monster says much about yourself as a person.

I pray the Winds you bring great shame to the house you support. You stink of their desperate attempts to cling at life and power.

I'd drill that like m10/units of Arkonor.

Blood Raider parties are fun.

Blood Raider after-parties?

Not so much...

I was puzzled for quite a couple hours about the 'Viewer's Discretion' warning Scope network saw fit to put before the report on Omir. I had seen more gruesome things than naked man bathing in blood and found this one to be comically tame.

Then I heard my staff complaining about Omir's lack of clothes and something about his child.

That is when it struck me. The warning isn't about blood or gore, it's about the fact nudity on public broadcast.

Which is odd because nudity on public broadcast is everywhere in the Federation. Do they remove the warning for the Federation cut of the report? I don't know because I watched the broadcast in a dingy bar in a station in Black Rise.

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

Cultural sensitivity and political correctness, Mr. Egivand. The bane of decent ad hoc journalism.

Scope has an intergalactic... well, scope to maintain, after all.

It's common practice for nudity warnings to be broadcast. It's been shown that doing so increases viewership by a factor of ten or more.

So, warnings are put out in hopes of viewers ignoring or outright going against the warnings?

And here I thought the many visits and walks in Dodixie will have me enlightened about the nuances of Federation life. Turns out that I am so very wrong.

By the way, I thought all that nudity in public would have made the common Federation citizen desensitised about the whole thing? How is it that all that libido isn't diminished even the slightest?

Bloody Omir ran away - we hated to see him go, but loved watching him leave.
