I'm surprised nobody's started discussing this (Edit, there's a thread in the RP section), it seems these sites are spawning everywhere, (spotted 2 beacons in the same system, corp-mate spotted one in a WH), and apparently they're dropping rewards such as permanent skins and 24hr cerebral boosters. This was just info I've gleaned from a quick search on Google, but seeing as nothing was mentioned in the patch notes today, is it safe to assume this was a slip-up? I've already seen 1 or 2 lossmails from newbies trying to run the site in Bourynes with bare bone velators, and the boosters seem to be causing havoc with a few people's skill queue's.

I'm pretty sure you'll want to see this dev blog, and post in this thread about it.

And as far as the havoc in people' skill queues, see this news item.
