I want it on PC myself, but all I want right now is some conversation.

A lot of people in Dust are hanging on, waiting for a sign. We haven't had a peep for over a year now.

And all the while Eve devs are being communicative (maybe, if your name is Rise, too communicative), with roadmaps and devblogs and interviews and the like. Yeah, I can see how that could be frustrating.

Still, I’m sure you guys have played this through in your heads a thousand times. If they’re not saying anything, it’s either because they’re in negotiations of some kind with Sony and can’t, at the moment, say anything at all without risking the outcome … or the news is bad. In which case it's you and the PS3 as long as the servers stay live. In that case, I’d be inclined to make the best of it as long as possible, and then, when the curtain finally falls, pack up your stuff, say thanks for all the fish, and move on. It's a big wide world out there.

"Enduring", "restrained" and "ample" as designations for starship components are foreign to the genre of high-tech science fiction and don’t belong in Eve Online. (And as for “scoped” …)

I've moved on to other games, but my heart has always stayed with Dust. I'd be back in a heartbeat if they ported it elsewhere. The PS3 really is holding it back. We can't even add full racial parity because we've exceeded the amount of items the game can hold.

I drop orbitals for my corpmates in EVE, play Arma and fighting games in my spare time.

But I still browse the Dust forums and push this movement, even if I know they can't say anything at the moment. I want them to know that the playerbase is ready and willing to hear whatever they are going to say the moment they're ready.

Kind of the same here. I've just started playing Angels Fall First with the same friends I played Dust with. Still hang around the forums though, same as you.

Basically these days I just go downstairs every morning and log in to get the daily reward and claim all my Warbarge products. I haven't actually played in at least a month. I might try out this new Hotfix though, since Rattati says they adjust Swarms again to make it easier for pilots to evade them.

Look CCP, the beating fine art will continue until we get a port.

You know I can keep this up forever.

I skilled out of dropships ages ago, so I can't really confirm if swarms are working as intended yet.

I know tanks are still hard as hell to kill though, if properly fit and piloted. You'll never kill one if he knows whats he's doing.

Personally I want to know whether the current POS bonuses from held Districts on planets in Dust will carry over to the new Citadels.

Sure seemed like it when I was with Ahrendee Mercenaries. The Corps that live around there tend to just jump on anything because there's so few targets. I had more than a few attempts to provide orbitals support ruined by a gang of Gangster's Paradise jumping in.

I spend most of my time down there scanning for wormholes to nullsec, doing relic sites, huffing gas, and then roaming in a firetail trying to find a decent fight.

Everyone down there either roams in groups too large for me to take, or run t3d's or pirate frigs my little firetail can't hope to match Cry

Oh yeah, and thanks CCP for the tracking speed buff.

Totally what the firetail needed.

Gotta claim all those non-sansha relic sites, semi-decent gas and access to Etherium and Wildlands.

Sites can pretty much be done solo. Gas is good once started up for drugs and is fairly easy the manufacturing mixed with this could actually be good but its all about the type of gas that's important. cut out that middle man and find a big null SOV alliance to sell to. If it had a unique SOV mechanic associated with pc people would of been more interested vice just poses.

Amen. Part of the reason I got into Dust in the first place was in the hopes that the game would eventually be a factor in null-sec territorial warfare.

I mean, let's not forget that with the maximum amount of Cargo Hub and Research Lab bonuses on a planet, any POS in orbit gains a 20% reduction to fuel consumption and 40% reduction to manufacturing time on ALL jobs.

In null-sec those bonuses would be huge. Instead almost no one knows about them because you can only get them in Molden Heath.

I would love it so much if they extended district control to all of lowsec and null sec.

So many districts to fight over. Mercenary ISK for DAYS.

Every corp would be trying to get a piece of the action, and most top tier corps aren't large enough to be as oppressive as they are now.

Not to mention the dank support we could get from alliances in null sec for holding strategic districts for production.

Would the PS3 exclusive contract end when the PS3 is no longer supported? Maybe they are waiting for that before making the announcement.

I am hoping they have the Beta ready to role out when the announcement is made.

EVE is golden on PC. Valkyrie is golden on PC. Gunjack is.... Gunjack.

Dust, however, really needs to be on console simply for integrity reasons. Hit scan based FPS is simply too vulnerable to hacking and the ability to play for free means there is no deterrent from creating accounts purely to make the lives of others a living hell in pubs. And we all know just how fast CCP customer service responds to support tickets.... yea. I don't think Archdukey is up to the task on fighting an army of undead hackers.

PS4 will serve it well. CCP just needs to make it happen.
