I will start focusing on my trading skills soon after my mission running skills are good enough for grinding up standings for various corporations. However, I have been planning on some strategies for making ISK. Now I have problem with buying items.

How do you minimize travelling salesman problem?

Of course if you know the full answer, then you should be doing something else than playing EVE.

But I mean that is there good ways to minimize the problem which is that you will end up on having hundreds of stations where you have to visit?

I see that some are buying items with region wide setting on and lowest amount is just single item! How anyone can manage that? Or do they actually care about all of the items? Do they just hope that in long rung, there will be enough big sales, that are good enough for pick up? Perhaps they just put the items back to market with high price for slow sell?

I will be focusing on industry, so I will not be doing just trading, which will be a tool for my industrial activities.

How efficient the hauler market is? For example Minmatar space, where I live now, is very quiet. I don't think that there would be enough free haulers to haul my stuff around efficiently enough to do region wide buying.

Any tips?

I do regionwide buy orders on a few high volume items.

By volume, most of the items are sold in a few specific stations. For instance, a good 5% of my Sinq Laison regionwide buy orders are filled in Deltole.

Those items I pick up. Others, I just sell them where they are.

If something is sold to me in a downright terrible location (like Rancer), I wait until my regionwide buy order is 0.01 ISKed, and sell it to the competition.

Faction standings affect the Broker's Fees twice as much as Corporation Standings do (for Jita 4-4 this is Caldari State and Caldari Navy). No NPC standings affect any fees involved in industry.
