This is a low volume highly detailed, really large model. It was always going to be around this much. And i doubt CCP see much if any of that. This is clearly (as with the rifter) not about real Iceland ISK. This was about letting fans get hold of models which has been problematic in the past. Also what is a super/titan worth if i use PLEX?

Seriously, making your own model this size, assuming free labor, would quickly get almost as expensive. Assuming same quality and finish.

In fact i would be in the market but i am shifting from EU to NZ soon. So getting rid of things rather than buying them right now.

This thing is boss. Would love a naglfar! made out of iron and naturally rusted. Ohh... i have a great time waster project when i get back to NZ.

AKA the scientist.

Well fun is also good.

If I would have $1800 to spend on EVE things, I would rather buy this small metal rifter and with the rest I would buy books, posters and Caldari clothes. Many nice things rather than one.

Well i mean, you know that you have HIGH customer demand because the NYX is beautiful.

Why not, make 2 other maybe smaller - less detail models to supply that demand. Then construct a few of those "grand" types for those who REALLY love EVE

Might be good to wait for an official announcement Blink

There is only 494 available currently though.
So some poor saps (6 of them) already paid 2gs for it.

I may be the seventh :P

If that's a serious question: A fully fit super, will run you $450-$500 or so. A titan ~$1800-$2000 or so, depending on how blinged out you want it. Roughly another $350-$500 for a pilot for either.

You seem a little sore over this my friend. Linking it in several threads.

Definitely in the running for the Daily Guac.

You wouldn't happen to be another alt of Vyl Vit/Pok Nibin (now biomassed)/Serene Repose are you?

Your posting style seems very similar to Pok and you appeared not long after they left.

Seems beyond a coincidence.

Interesting. Sadly, my personal cut-off point for models is at around 100$, so I'll wait until the price drops to that.

You're dreaming buddy.

I work in hydraulics manufacture and I will tell you right now that a perfectly balanced 3d model accurate to minute detail with inlaid electronics and magnetics would cost the manufacturer a good $400-600 to make just in labour.

With that being said, an option to purchase via PLEX should be available, if it's not already present.

Also my IRL guristas jacket when?

Don't be so literal, I was simply saying I won't buy models at prices over 100$, the rest was me joking.

I'm concerned as to why it says 'in stock' but then the purchase options say "pre-order" and "deposit." Seems inconsistent.

If 100 dollar is you limit, what is perfectly fine, you have a hard time as many models are over 100 dollar. Not only eve online but other brands and manufactures to.

There are always exceptions of course.

You guys do know that this is a specialty model outlet. Very low volume items more or less made to order. See there other items. They are all around fairly expensive. This is not some 10,000 unit plastic model run from Taymia.
