a group of scientist want to use eve and other games to do research. not 100% how it works but they had a thing at fan fest iirc.

Has anyone at CCP thought that maybe the most important talks of the last two years warrant broadcasting?

there will be videos on youtube after and i am sure people will be live blogging. my guess is the cost to stream was a bit too high

It is an officially supported event given dev presence and a key role in feature release for 2 years now.

Allocate some money and stream the ******.

It's not hard. It's borderline inadequacy to not do so.

If not, don't wait until a big event to show off your new idea.
