CCP I don't know what the hell you're thinking by coming up with such a game killing scheme as this. I mean are you really that desperate for income these days that you'd go and incorporate the dumbest game killing feature in the history of eve. You know what you're doing by adding this feature, don't you? In case you don't, I'll spell it our for you. You're putting Eve on an hour glass. Meaning, the game is finally in it's dying stages and you're trying to milk it for all it's worth for as long as you can until it officially dies out. So much for you looooooong term commitment, was that a farse? I have 12 accounts that are still very active right now, but you know what, for some reason this game is starting to lose it's realness appeal for me with the announcement of the biggest fail feature you've added to this game to date. I been reading and reading about the Eve is dying threads all this year, but they never seemed real to me....until now. Are you really gonna do this CCP? I sure as hell hope not or I'll be the next one to biomass all my accounts and leaving this game forever.

And yea, I still have over 134 bill isk worth of assess and no you can't have my stuff.

CCP has the habit of not changing their course until they hit the iceberg.

.

To buck the popular trend, I began to Rage Start instead of Rage Quit.

...and every time I get another piece of Carbon, I know exactly what CCP is getting this Christmas.

First of all : Wall of text. Please learn to use paragraphs

Second :
The ability to buy yourself skillpoints via buying a high skilled char from the basar has bin there for a long time and no one seemed to have a issu with it.

So now they change it in a way that you are able to exchange the killpoints ingame, more granular and you can keep your toons name. Thats all that will change.

CCP is not selling skillpoints. The skillpoints still need to come from someone who has them and is willing to sell them.

So stop the panic mode.

Indeed. But (if I have read the devblog correct) the seller needs to buy aurum and then can sell the skillpoints on the market for ISK.

A logical consequence will be that more PLEX will be brought to the market to get the ISK to buy the skillpoints. More PLEX on the market => lower prices.

So this is actually a realy inovative way for CCP to lower PLEX prices AND earn something in the process.

Could be some conceptual method of killing the PLEX market. Plz note I said kill - not crash, killing a market can still mean a death spiral of inflation.

So you won't have a problem seeing 6 month old chars flying near maxed Dreads? Or 1 Week noobs flying TD3s?

Lets forget for a moment that this is possible for years now.

Why would I have a problem with it ?

If I get killed by a vet player or by a new player that bought the skillpoints makes no differnce.

Its the same with ISK. It does not matter if the Bling PvP ship that you fight was bought with "earned" ISK or with ISK that came from a PLEX.

I personally don't have an issue with those things because I really don't give a **** how long anyone has been playing but it really seem to drive people up the walls. I get that it encourage FotM bandwagon but new people flying complex stuff don't really matter to me. What is the real difference between getting killed by an orthrus piloted by a 1 week old newbie and getting killed by an orthrus piloted by a 11 years vet anyway? I really wish someone would make me see the real difference between those 2 scenario...

Well it just seem like cheating to me where I had to wait and wait to get those loooong skills trained and then a noob comes along with a few months in the game flying the same ships it took me a year and a half to get in. But idk maybe I'm over exaggerating the effects this will have, at least I hope so.

When did CCP say they were gonna implement this?

You think this is CCPs way of addressing the rising plex prices? They haven't set a price on the Transneural skill packet yet, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

A noob is still a noob. And a 100m skillpoint char in a 1B ship just explodes like a rooky in a rooky ship when the big red deathball come for him.

Also, after X million skillpoints, you dont add more power to a char but usually only more variety. If people want to spend money to get the short cur, fine. If they buy PLEX and sell them on the market even more fine. I still play my sub and wait patiently for Advanced weapon upgrades 5 to complete.

Why do people even care about this? So people can buy a little extra speed for their skilling, so what? I've played and paid for this game almost 10 years now and I don't give a **** about this (beyond the hilarious response it has gotten on the forums). Why do you?
