I've often wished CONCORD would go on strike.

The reality is though, it would be so unbalanced in favour of people like me, as well as gankers and anyone else that wanted to bring illegal aggression to highsec, that it would really be unfair to the bulk of the population that wouldn't be prepared for it and many probably wouldn't even know until it was too late.

Come to Black Rise, we don't have any dirty CONCORD. Not since they opened a 24/7 donut shop in Jita.

The locals have been known to shoot back though...I hope that's not a problem?

And that right there says why CCP won't do it. Because you are wanting it just to pad your KB and laugh at people who aren't as 'hardcore' as you
As for weakening concord, search moo and their exploits and you will understand just why Concord is so OP as a game mechanic. Though it would be better replaced by an auto self destruct that can't be bypassed to stop all the whining about 'why doesn't concord shoot the pirates/drifters/sansha. (Note, I actually advocate increased concord response times, alongside industrials getting real fittings, so you have longer to gank someone but they can personally defend also as well as longer for others to intervene)

There are people in the world that think it's a good thing to go to the public swimming pool and stomp around in the wading pool with the four-year-olds, pausing only to hold the kids' heads under water now and then. Amazing, right?

At the same time, there are people who "play games" (according to them) who just can't stand any possible opponent being equal in ability and capacity. They wish others were at a decided disadvantage ensuring effortless wins for themselves!

I know. It's hard to believe, especially when they can be found later bragging to anyone who'll listen how good they are at games!

There are also people who pee on the toilet seat, then leave it for someone else to worry about. (These guys, oddly enough, can't manage to keep a girlfriend for very long. Maybe someone could write a doctoral thesis on this.)

However, THIS game (EVE Online) only has people who enjoy a fair and challenging opponent so their victories are all well-fought and well-earned. They don't seek unfair advantages as they take pride in their own record of accomplishment and wouldn't dream of it being smudged with easy, unfair, imbalanced so-called "wins."

Hard to believe, isn't it?

Lets hope he get perma ban on all accounts as rules state.

For me Concord was never an issue in higsec operations.
Maybe lack of concord for few hours could be interesting feature to higsec people.

They did once, in Luminaire. It was glorious.

Remember about factional police.
They will limit the abuse a bit.
