So i make a similar thread and the more i read abaut the lore of this game the more questions i have which is great and there ve been a few questions abaut eves lore that ve been in my head the past days while playing here they are.

1. How does eve sensors work ?

Everytime i open my directional scan to see if im going to get ganked the units are AUs thats right AUs an AU its equal to the distance from our planet to our sun that means 150 million kilometers and my scan works on a radius of 15 aus thats like 2139249551 kilometers saturn its like 10 AUs away from the sun so ships are capable of detecting other ships over those distances in less than seconds and then you have that OP amarr ship with sensors capable of detecthing ships over distances of several thousands of AUs, but my question is how does that work? do we have any info on them closest thing is the fact that ships apparently uses stuff like LADAR and RADAR sensors stuff similar to what we have today and the caldari which uses that weird gravimetric stuff.

2. Energy production on eve how does it work ?

Just that how does our ships produces the energy required to do everything they do like punching the laws of physics on the face by travelling faster than light and other stuff.

According to the build requirements for the T2 ships gallenteans uses fusion , amarr uses antimatter, caldari uses graviton reactors ( i really want to know how does that work) and the ninmatar use nuclear reactors.

what kind of nuclear reactor does the ninmatar uses fission, fusion ? i think i read something abaut the gallente using aneutronic fussion but i might be wrong.

3. How different is new eden language from ours? and possible theory on megawatts and othe earth like terms.

Well that i think that gallentean are descendant from the french and caldari look a bit asian and russian to me so does gallentean speak french or is their language similar to french on some way?

Are new eden megawatts the same stuff than our megawatts?

mean i was watching a dust gameplay video and somethiing abaut a 80GJ railgun heavy dutty stuff i mean that alone would mean that the reactor powering the turret should be able to produce 8 GWs of energy assuming a recharge time of 10 seconds ( im not expert on physics i might be wrong) meanwhile battleship reactors have a power output of 10 GW seems weird to me, more than a question is a theory i think that in all that time passed language changed a bit and their MWs are different from ours.

Also there is the fact that steel is apparently used on ship plating which wouldnt make sense on a futuristic setting like eve so its more likely that their steel is made from different materials.

4. its posible to travel to another star systems using just the warpdrive?

that got my interest its possible to do that? i know it would probably took hours or days depending on the distance but it is possible ? i remember something abaut the jovians destroying their gates how do they travel from system to system?

5. How is sanshas nation able to open wormholes like that everywhere?

Do they have limits on how far can be the wormholes? where did they get that technnology? do they require cyno fields too ?

6. Its possible for ships to stay so close to stars for minutes/ hours like on game ?

In that prophecy trailer there was a station that looked really close to a star and ingame you can stay a few thousands of kms from giant blue stars for minutes its that a thing on lore too?

7. does capsuleers go to the bathroom how does capsulees deal with you know... capsule poop.

I remember reading something abaut a capsulee capable of sustaining a capsuleer for several days so that strike my curiosity.

Last but not least

8. Does railgun shells travel so fast that they transform into plasma?

They look like white streams of light and i think plasma its mentioned here and there everytime you read abaut railguns so i though that .

Thanks for reading this and sorry if i make alot of questions eve lore its really cool and i love to make questions fly safe! o/

Very interesting questions.
Gladly read the answers.

The best examples of the languages is to examine the names of star systems in-game. The Caldari are inspired by a combination of Japanese and Finnish.

Likewise the Tau Ceti ancestors of the Gallente clearly spoke a language that has now evolved into something very similar to French.

The races all speak these languages. Our NEOCOMs (the in-game UI) translates this for us.

This is a tricky one and I'm not 100% sure. Technically, yes? But this isn't represented truly through in-game mechanics. You need beacons and warping points, as in-game. In the past, ships would fly at the fastest speeds possible to setup these points. This is how the stargate systems were setup initially).

I don't think the warp drives allow you to simply point towards the nearest stars and "go". You'd need to send some sort of beacon (such as another ship) at sub-light speeds. Once there, you might be able to warp to them, assuming it reaches that far. I'm not sure it does though. Also warp speeds would be slower than the near instantaneous jump speeds (which require stargates).

I remember reading something abaut a capsulee capable of sustaining a capsuleer for several days so that strike my curiosity.

As far as i know, capsuleers can stay in the capsule as long as they wish. Any waste gets broken down in the pod fluid ("Nanites") and repurposed to nutrients.

Some of the shell might get burned to plasma while traveling down the muzzle but since there's nothing in space that could make them burn up by friction, I'd guess the shell is just so fast it looks like a white line.
Blasters (plasma cannons) turn the whole shell into plasma before firing and then launch the stuff at the target by electromagnetic repulsion.

In-game, a capsuleer can stay forever in space. In reality, conservation of mass and energy will make sure that the capsuleer will have to get out sometime.

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.
