Greetings Summit,

As many of you are doubtless aware, the capsuleer formerly known as Frenjo Borkstar - who now identifies as Viriel - recently underwent a medical procedure to modify his genome with samples collected from Jovian ambassador Misu Baniya.

The long-term ramifications of this have only recently come to light. The initial modified clone died within a day, upon which Viriel was transferred into a clone grown directly from Baniya's DNA. He underwent a total change of personality, along with a near total loss of memory. He found his way to The Broken Piano several days later and caused a bit of a scene. I was called and escorted him back to the recovery ward at Genetic Angels Labs, where he was treated for - for lack of a better term - substance poisoning. I spoke to him via GalNet a few days thereafter, but have not heard from him since.

I paid a visit to Genetic Angels, but he had at some point checked himself out and they have no record of where he could have gone. Further worrisome, the backup clone that was in storage at the lab has gone missing.

I have mailed him, but have received no reply. I asked Seraphim to do the same, and it seems she has gotten similarly nil results. I had a locator agent run a search for him, but to no avail.

I know that there are no shortage of pilots who are eager to see him disposed of, either for who he was before or for what he has become. That said, Frenjo was a dear friend as is Viriel. If anyone has had any contact with him, please inform myself or Seraphim Risen at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for your time.

Dr. Quattras Alvar Peione

No, I'm not that kind of doctor.

Take heart! I am certain his friends will not long mourn his passing or disappearance.

He better be dead! If I see his sorry behind, I'm going to punch him in the gut! And I can bench press a Shuttle, so my fist will probably go straight through him! I won't miss him. Both literal and figuratively!

Stealing my freaking research and passing as his... Why I never...

Apparently so. Though I'm waiting on the Doc to say as such.

A question though; Does he still have green skin?

He was spotted in the main trade station of Jita.

Actually I believe you might find he's been biomassed.
A basic profile check confirms that and Concord representatives some time ago confirmed that they don't change legal registrations.
So if someone turns up claiming to be Viriel, it's going to be some kind of scam since he was still legally registered as Frenjo, who now shows in the 'Corporation' for capsuleers who biomass.

Though it is very recent, so the Jita sighting may have been just before the biomass procedure.

He's not a "Virel", he's just crazy. Thinks he was possessed by an evil Jove spirit! That is so dumb, I don't even. I don't even!

Is it to anyone's surprise that something like this is going to happen?

By the way, did he leave behind any terrible Jovian emo poetry?

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

Let's do genetic tampering of very similar level to what the Jovians did to their own genome! What can possibly go wrong?

It's hard to pity such things.

Considering it was yesterday - and that it was, to be specific, Viriel - not Frenjo - being seen, I don't think so.

Quick log check shows that Frenjo Borkstar was reprocessed and his corporation was closed. Instead, someone named Viriel is still in database and probably can be found.

There is no entry about any abnormal status of this subject nor any confimation on it's "meta-jovian" condition.

He is probably going through infomorph sublimation, and CONCORD just gave him a new ID! That's what you get when you change your genes so much your old clones become imcompatible!

He can kill his old clone and fool CONCORD all he wants, but I'm still going to call him Mister Borkstar.

If there is someone with the registration of Viriel, they are not the same person. Concord representatives confirmed that they and Frenjo were different people, and the two have been happily living alongside each other for nearly a month also.

You'll be happy to see Mr. Borkstar on your examination table, do ya?

We had a lot of reports about different clones who were acting like the same person all around the Claster, though it's a serious violation of the Clone Law. We guess that current control system is incapable to identify cases of illegal clone making.

Wouldn't be the first time either! I've done several experiments on him!

He originally asked me first to splice his genes with those of a Jove, but I refused on the grounds that he wouldn't let me make him pretty! Those wrinkles of his are awful! He didn't want to be turned into a killer cyborg either, that fool.

Heck! I was the one who developed the gene splicing technique first! He must have stole my notes to do it on himself! The bastard!
