I expect it a nano second before the cold death of the Universe.

I want to live in an EVE where I can at least role-play and pretend that my pilot got out of his ship orbital dropped in a dropsuit onto a planet and then continued to assault the people that attempted to evade me there. Maybe raid someone's PI facility in hopes to steal some of the goods that they were producing only to be thwarted by the private security force that they hired. Anything. Just anything. I want to live in my game.

CCP has said over, and over, and over, that its sitll a thing but not in a place to talk about.

Basicly take a deep breath and relax.

Logic says dust has to go someplace. The ps3 won;t be around forever.

Legion is coming.. but to pc or ps4 is the question, cause if legion is not coming then dust is basicly dead

Legion is dust future. So if no legion then yes dust goes tot he trash

would be superduper cool to hear something about it.

I would really have liked to play this instead of Planetside 2, a part from the fact that I consider PS2 more attractive, at leat on paper.

Truth is that, even if DUST has a somewhat solid 2000 people logged in, it is probably too little for CCP to invest a considerable amount of money into it, and development *seems* to basically be over, and DUST seems to be in maintenance mode.

It was clear though after the announcement of Project Legion that many console players were quite pissed off, and for this reason we can assume that either Project Legion gets green light, or DUST slowly fades away, but resisitng as long as a decent amount of PS3s are around. Project Legion never got Green Light, and we did't hear anything from this any more.

As far as I can understand, DUST is not going to grow, but its destiny is a slow, slow decline.

Not sure if this will make anyone feel better or worse, but all my efforts to learn about the fate of Dust and or Legion were in vain. Whatever future belongs to the games if any is solely known by CCP and maybe (hopefully) the Council of Planetary Management.

I've made it as clear as possible at every opportunity reasonable to convey the fact that many Eve players and certainly most Dust players feel left in limbo by the radio silence on Project Legion.

I personally share some of the wistful dreams of continuing assaults from ship to grounds, and really think a properly implemented Dust could become a crown jewel game, and unique among all FPS games.
