Team Five 0 comes with details about the Parallax release (deployment on Nov 3): Improvements to Sovereignty mechanics, defensive regeneration on Entosis targets,manual Online/Offline Control of Infrastructure Hub Upgrades and more! We also will see a reduction of the maximum jump fatigue for capital pilots - down from 30 to 5 days at maximum.

Exciting things are coming with Parallax, and beyond!

UPDATE 2015-10-15: Yroc Jannseen pointed out an inconsistency in the role requirements for configuring IHub upgrades. The blog incorrectly stated a requirement of Configure Starbase role. This has been corrected to show the Station Manager requirement instead.

Heh, while dots on the ship counting kills made with that ship is somewhat cool and utterly useless fun. What about implementing an actual ingame killboard, where people can track all their kills, and not just hope it surfaces on a out of game killboard.

If you watch closely in the video, you'll see that the marks work on a tally system, with single kills eventually being combined into larger "10 kill" marks.

Basically don't you worry, you'll be fine Lol

What clears the kill tally?
- contracting?
- repackaging?
- station trading?
- ejecting in space?
Any manual way to clear it? (for whatever reason)

Who gets the credit for a kill if your drones are assigned to assist another player? The dev blog says the parent ship, but I'm not sure who that is.

Edit: Also, do you get credit if you kill your own alt?

What are the chances of getting these kill ticks to be an optional feature with a toggle on the fitting screen? I quite enjoy the occasional bait-and-gank on roamers, which would be easily identifiable with the "Look at" function if I've got a couple dozen kill hashes on a battle badger.

Anything that will keep the custom ship name will keep the kill count - so contracting, trading, ejecting/boarding in space.
Anything that will reset the custom ship name will reset the count - so pretty much just repacking.
That's the easiest way to explain it :)

Kill Marks should include some NPCs - Commanders, Overseers, Officers and Burners should give you a mark...

I'm not against it; however, I don't agree with some of your choices.

Commanders - No, plenty of those and they are generally not difficult
Overseers - No, people run these sites ALL the time and are generally not difficult
Officers - Yes, rare and can be difficult
Burners - Yes

It will always be the same as the ship listed as getting the final blow. So drones set to assist will count for their original owner ship.

Currently Ihub Upgrades require Station Manager, what may be considered a "higher" or more restricted role than Starbase Config.

What's the logic in dropping ihub upgrades down to a lower role?

Why 20 min to self destruct an ihub? I feel this should be longer, perhaps an hour. Smaller alliances may not have round the clock multiple director coverage.

we need team 5-0 in FW so they can quickly implement those timer rollbacks for us too ;)

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value
