Best distro for 3 monitor support?

What Linux distro do you think has the best triple monitor support?

I tried the first Ubuntu that had Unity and it was a piece of filth when it came to my XFX ATI HD 5870, the monitors flickered and the windows broke when dragged no matter what I did.

I currently play EVE Online on 3 monitors with Eyefinity support on Windows. Is this impossible with all distros of Linux?

I don't wanna keep using windows but I feel forced. =(

All distros use the same thing anyway so there is no best distro for monitor support. Only thing that differs are the features. Unity will have better "support" if you will say so when using there virtual desktops etc.

Gnome3 is working decent, bad awareness I would say. But all of them are working proper (resizing fullscreen etc)

Gnome-shell and AMD and possible Unity still have issues so if you want to have a fancy window manager like those you need to run opensource drivers otherwise switch to KDE or some other like OpenBox, Awesome etc.

If you want it stable have each monitor as a independent Xserver and don't drag the windows across. Linux is pretty crap at spanning.
