i tested the new eve launcher today and while playing around i clicked on the "support" button.

a new browser tab opened and i got a new(?) customer support page.

while i like the layout (its clear, simple and has a very high information density without confsing people), the website is hosted somewhere outside of the usual ccp domains.

the site reconized me (i was able to auto log in without any additional input) but i dont realy like to do any account and payment based stuff over some shady third party domains.

as an eve player my first thought was something like thats a scam and i quickly left the site :<

Quite correct, simply by installing this new client, I was able to un-install my TQ, SISI, and duailty clients and have ended up saving over 30Gb. So it will actually save you space!

First thank all devs for the hard work, the launcher is awesome! I'm away from using exe files (for now at least). Remembering accounts? Launch multiple at once? yes yes yes!

Now, few issues:

1) Could it remember windows position for each account? Or at least each setting? Would help with multiboxing.

2) there is issue with launching multiple clients, it doesn't save the selected state with the press of play selected, so later changes do affect which clients are launched:

Steps to reproduce:
1) set new launcher with 2 or more accounts
2) check first only
3) set delay between launching clients to something high, like 1 min
4) press play selected
5) wait for client to start
6) check checkbox next to the second (or more others) accounts
7) the second account will launch as well even if it was not selected when pressing play selected <-- ISSUE

Bug report EBR-50883

Plus the waiting between accounts is waited (can waiting be waited? dunno, so: sleep(TIME) is called) even after last selected account when it's not necessary, don't know if it actually affects anything.

Just downloaded the new launcher tonight. Pretty sweet work, guys!

How about a feature to copy settings, such as copying setting 1 into setting 2, etc. Then, say I wanted two setups that were exactly the same but one set up to look good and the other set up for high performance in fleet battles, I could just make one setup, copy it over, and change the relevant things on the Display and Graphics tab. My keybinds, UI, and everything else would still be intact.

It'd be great for multiboxing, too.

Can't wait to see the Latest News and Scope Video links on there! I'm sure that's an understandably low priority at the moment, though, but that's ok. This thing is worth the wait! Love it so far!

This is really great. I do not know if this has been suggested but it would be nice to be able to rename the setting selections.

After two days using this thing with multiple accounts on multiple servers, it has probably saved me about 10 minutes of time logging in and out - giving me 10 more minutes to blow things up. Thank you very much.

Still doesn't work for me:( Get Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x0000001c in 32-bit code (0x01e67073).
When i just ignore this i get to the launcher window, i get the server list and i can log in - but i have no chance to "add accounts".
The Web-GUI link gives me an empty grey window.
Helpwould be very much appreciated, as i'm often need to log in my mining fleet and my PI-chars - the new launcher could be exactly my dream;)

This case is'nt made obvioous be by the new launcher.
Login using the Server List option from the E-Menu works fine.

Probably also using the (tq) exefile.exe and most likely the old launcher

I have my accounts logged in. Pressing play creates log entry:

Just wanted to write it here for devs if they have any use for that info.

EDIT: now it nicely tells me that my authentication token is expired.

EDIT2: and now some one fixed the login. can debug the error state anymore :D

(ps. I have no idea how you do this: Authentication token is expired, I logout, login with one account and can launch game for both accounts... this is magic (I have no idea how the token is authorized for the second account or it didn't ever expire...))

today seemed to be somekind of erta dt for account management stuffs .. was launching the client from the server list window and saw at the bottom that Chaos server was doing some update ..

then came here to look and saw this in the 2nd post
