Hi
I'm running 4 accounts in window mode. ... Yes on windows 10
I did this previously on windows 8.1 but now I seem to get some little lag on the other 3 accounts that I have not selected.
It's playable. But I like to have it better.

All 4 accounts are set on : Interval Immediate. 1918x1028
My pc:
Inter(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz
RaM: 16 GB
Win 10: 64-bit Pro
GPU: GeForce GTX 770

Selected window has around 250-400 fps and the others drop down to 50-70fps.
Now atm I have selected this chrome window and all the accounts are around 100fps.

There was a similar issue back when vista or 7 came first. Then we had to disable or enable a feature that gave the selected window too much juice!.

I suspect there is a very similar solution now but I just can't remember what that was.

here is a preview of my setup.: http://i.imgur.com/k94momh.jpg

P.s
CCP.. How about we could have fixed window option that allowed us to pick from the 4 corners on our screen.. I would love to have my 4 accounts in fixed window mode.

I have an almost identical setup and I am experiencing the SAME exact problem, only with just 2 accounts. When I'm active on one account on one of my monitors, my fps is great 200+. Then, as SOON as I click the other monitor for the second account, the first account fps plummets to 20-30 fps, and vice versa when I click off of the second account.

If I click the task bar, both accounts will balance out around 100-120 fps, until I click one of them again.....

This problem is INCREDIBLY frustrating.

Has there been a fix or work-around yet? It's totally ruining my playing experience.

unless you have a screen displaying 300 hertz, you should try to enable v-sync (or interval 1 as they say in eve)

this should limit the GPU and CPU consumption, as it will limit the frame rendering to your screen refresh rate (probably 60 Hz, so 60 fps)

I myself uses windowed mode and alt+tab/clic on task bar (only one client displayed at any given time)

I also noticed the game was smoother when the one in background were minimized. (made something that does it automatically, but won't work if you want 2 or more game displayed)

but in your case, you simply want interval 1
