Looks like the CSS stylesheets aren't loading for you guys. Try a full refresh (Ctrl+F5 usually). CCP might have screwed up something for a few minutes, and anyone who tried to load the stylesheets at that point got a fail.

Edit: or stylesheets could be failing to load for random people. Looks fine for me in Chrome and in Firefox 11 (dev channel).

If I click on portraits, the background fixes iteself for that, same with forum settings window. Nope, works just fine on another computer that did not have the forums cached.

Nope, works just fine on another computer that did not have the forums cached.

Good for you. Even my in game browser doesn't load the stylesheet so your assumptions about client side problems are clearly flawed.

Yeah. It looks like they've migrated large parts of the forums to a new directory structure, most likely to add support for more skins within the same setup (Dust?) and some of their caches and/or proxies aren't updating and/or redirecting the way they should.

All I've noticed is that some annoying “functionality” has started to work, which was previously blocked when it was hosted on the google code repositories. It wouldn't surprise me if this is connected to routing or geographical location.

The problem is that there are no announcements about coming/ongoing web changes. There is no notes about changes coming up/been done. There is no information about status of current issues people are experiencing, which sometimes are critical like today. There is no fixes/plans to problems which these forums have been experiencing from day 1. New promised features are not there or are only partly developed and left there to rotten. There is really zero communication between web team and forum users.

...but forum works again - thank you for fixing it.

Announcement about breaking it would have been nice so that I didn't have to spend 30 minutes trying to solve the problem in my end before being absolutely sure that it's in your end again.
