I feel and think that 2 Npc corp per faction is sufficient. 1 Faction Warfare and 1 Wardec immune baby "normal" Npc corp.

The Scope is good corp as far as npc corps go, they go on roams. Chat is active, scams work etc etc.
We dont need like 2-3 other Gall Npc corps in addition to the Fed Defense FW one.

It just splits the already shrinking player base. It makes finding friends and groups for dungeons harder.

These people need to see the benefits of a corp, make 1 npc corp for each faction then 1 extra that is FW for each.
Choose CAS for Cali etc etc.

I have an alt in the deadest Amarr Npc corp.
No one talks. Its a joke.
I feel bad for the noobs that go into that corp it is sad.

Also should leave school corp after finished with tutorials or like 30days but that is different task.

I'm not sure, but I think CCP did it that way specifically to irritate you.

I honestly feel like I just read fifty shades of dumb. --CCP Falcon

All NPC Corps should be deleted and their members should be rolled into a single NPC Corp in the game: CAS. Every NPC Corp except for CAS is broken. Scope used to be something but they're about as quiet as RMS is these days.

Joffy Aulx-Gao for CSM. Fix links and OGB. Ban stabs from plexes. Fulfill karmic justice.

To be honest, I think NPC corp should be wardecable (for a sufficiently high price.)

That... or it should be possible to buy shares in them, perform a hostile takeover, install yourself as CEO and turn on friendly fire.

Ill bite on this one.... because WAAAAY back when your starting NPC corp mattered. Youd get different bonuses and stats based on your starting corp, blood line and ancestory. This was then progressively nerfed down into what it is today. Where everyone starts basically the same with only a few racial weapon and frigate differences. Its also why you see so many Achura characters as they were the best stats to roll.

But if you had google fu or a brain or were actually OLD in the game and not a ******* noob like you prove on the forums youd know this already.Roll

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

Because CCP has always said that choices should have consequences and its been dumbed down enough where there ARE no choices or consequences because of cry babies like you!! Cookie cutter characters without any real differences or meanings. More sps for those building alts! Yeah uhuh...Roll

I think a better use of development time would be finding a way to get those players into player corporations instead.

Because it hurts the loners in the dead npc corps.
If someone hasnt joined a good player corp or had a bad experience and then return to a totally dwad/terrible npc corp. They may just quit.

It would bring npc players together and could encourage more grouping/friendships.

Its kind of like was an mmo is dying and they merge servers.

Just merge the separate npc corps of each race together and boom. Instant more people/etc etc.

Why has 3 separate Gallente npc corps each with (random #) 200 people online, when can merge and boom gall npc corp then has almost 1000 people

They have seriously been trying to do that for freaking years. Seriously years.
This is a quick fix to help while they spend more years fixing that

some time ago, not sure if it is the same nowadays, but, in the Gallente starter corporations, there was some observable difference between the three.
The Federal Navy Academy, the players there seemed more "woo, lets shoot stuff!"
the University of Caille, the players there were into the research and exploration games
and CAS, the players there were quite into trying to build things with other people. group mining and so on.

So, at that point in time, the choosing of the starter corporations put people into groups with somewhat like-minded people, so that they might make friends with whom they'd have a few things in common.

That's how it used to work, at least. Not sure how it works nowadays.

As well as the 12 starter corporations, there are 12 bloodline corporations that players are placed in, if they quit a player corporation without joining another. Everyone that is an Amarr goes into Viziam, everyone that is Khanid goes into Ministry of War, everyone that is Ni-kunni goes into Imperial Shipment, as an example.

The worst example of those bloodline corporations is what happens to Vherokior characters. Instead of going to the Vherokior Tribe npc corporation, which would make sense, given that Sebiestor characters go to the Sebiestor Tribe npc corp, and Brutor characters to the Brutor Tribe corp, the Vherokior characters are placed in Native Freshfood, for some reason, which defies common sense.

That kind of dilutes the playerbase somewhat, spreading them over those npc corporations for no real reason.

So there's 12 starter corps, 12 bloodline corps, and 4 faction militias.

The bloodline ones should be the ones to look at first, because separating people by bloodline of their character is fairly arbitrary.

Separating them by faction, then it could be reduced to 4, and I'd suggest these ones:

Chief Executive Panel - for caldari characters
Republic Parliament - for minmatar
Amarr Civil Service - for amarr
Federal Administration - for gallente

These corporations represent the governments of the four major npc entities, and make some sense for people to be placed in them.

It'd help with critical mass, keeping players in touch with each other, and helping them stay interested in playing, maybe.

A lot of loners are in those NPC corps by choice because they're "dead" they can be left alone to do their own thing war-dec free. They won't ever leave the NPC corps no matter what changes are made.

The last thing some want is about 1000 spamming chat. Heck a few leave the big alliances to get away from that....make NPC corps that large too and you'll drive them out the game totally. (and before "well no loss because they weren't contributing to the mmo-part of the game anyway" - they're still logging in, using the markets and flying ships in space).

If someone wants to be in a quiet NPC corp to play this sandbox game their own way, they should have that ability. Not be forced into moving because it doesn't suit someone elses idea of what playstyle they should have. The tools are already in game should players want to find friends / corps to fly with should they choose.
