Moar Russian Overlords ftw!!!

Also, Who exactly will the amarr get? Apart from Scrubby CVA.
Because tbh that's not even an alliance. More a coalition of carebears.

We don't want carebears. Evil.

There goes the only mechanic stopping many militia members from going full pie. I predict much flag-toting yarr in the coming days.

We're privateers.

How is that a fix?

More stuff for me to kill...that's an excellent fix.

Null sec = DERP sec

Let the silly re re's join FW, 95% of all null sec alliances are terrible at PvP anyways. Come at me bro!

I fully endorse these changes. Keep up the good work!

I really hope that FCON joins caldari FW!

Getting rid of the standings bug for repping gcc/perma-flashy: Yes! Finally our corp can use logi again when the situation requires it.

As far as alliances go: More targets is good! And if things ever devolve into outside corps cherry picking fw corps to wardec again, alliances are now a possibility for FW corps that wish to band together.

The RR fix is definitely welcome. I wonder if this will extend to bubble mechanics for those who have ventured into null.

I'm a bit skeptical about the benefits of allowing alliances into FW, particularly the larger alliances and the impact that it may have on small fleet/skirmish combat. Additionally, will there be sufficient incentive for these alliances to fight in low sec rather than occasional roams from systems that they hold sov?

Thing is, those alliances already make occasional roams in lowsec... and since a lot of us are blinky, currently they can shoot us but we can't shoot back as a fleet as easily.

If they join a militia and come into lowsec well... Now we can begin engaging them at will. I only see upsides (easier to engage alliances that already roam lowsec) . (Is there something I've missed?)

Don't know if you have had a large corp join wither side "over there", but we have quite a few 50-100 active man corps join either The Tyrant's Death Squads or Amarr and in all cases fights became pure ganks whenever they were involved = no fun for anyone.
You are right that there are upsides .. but while the occasional Battle of the Blobs can be pure awesome, dumping 500 active pilots into each militia will make every fight a blob fight = FW loses its soul.

Can't even begin to think of what the lag will be like in the militia hub systems .. *brrrrrrrrrr* Smile

So will alliances in FW be allowed to hold sov?

I guess once you have a signature, you cannot have a blank one.

That's kinda the big point made in the linked thread. I tihnk we'd be more OK with alliances in FW if they can't hold Sov. That's the general feeling I'm getting anyhow.

Yeah or you are going to have every allience joining what ever fw they can for a few more targets around the place....

FW side ballence is a very fine art and any large heavy pvp joining a side will mess it up im sure of it :(

I have been having a blast with the small gang small ship fights. I would be worried that large alliances are going to change it to 0.0 blob fests... We will see I guess.

The FW theater of operations is large. If main pipes are congested then all you have to do is move away from them a little bit to get smaller scale fights.
