Republic Fleet Heavy Missile Launcher (Question)

So the Republic Fleet Heavy Missile Launcher is the only launcher i could find (Maybe i overlooked some) but from all the ones i have seen that has a damage listing on the launcher it self. The launcher it self has a listing of 130 Kinetic damage, as mentioned i could find no other launcher that has an additional damage listing.

Can anybody clarify why this is the case? Do the launchers do additional damage? EFT dos not seem to think so but it could be wrong.

Interesting, it does have that, it's probably something they removed and just forgot that one. They don't do any additional damage.

Yeah, TBH I haven't tested them myself so my comment is based off an asumption, but I find it hard to believe that this could have been kept secret for so long. I'll check to see if there are any in my loot pile when I get home but I don't remember ganking anyone with republic fleet launchers, it's mostly ammo and drones I collect.Nope don't have any.

Unlikely they have a damage modifier, guns tend to have different damage modifiers as their "upgrade" between meta. Missile launchers have a reduced cycle time as their "upgrade."

There's more to it than that, but if i were comparing launchers I'd be comparing on rate of fire.

There are other things to consider which I think of as more advanced attributes. For instance with blasters neutrons have great damage and relatively good range but will burn out quickly if overheated. Whereas ions will last much longer if overheated have a much bigger magazine size but lack the range.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

Please Note: Any advice given comes with the caveat that nothing will be suitable for every situation.
