[Vanguard] Guristas Cruiser Burner Mission

I finished it on my first try with this.
It took ages though, mainly due to refitting at a depot and trying different tactics.
I had an alt in an damnation providing armor links, but turned them off to test the tank.

The fighter bombers worried me a bit without links, the AB seems to be essential here.
I had to overhead the Repper a bit to feel on the safe side with their bursts.

It might be better to switch the MagStab for a 2nd Tracking link.
A Faction AB might be a welcome addition too.

I also found CN AM to be superior to VOID or NULL to the fighters.


Tactic Fighters:
1st one Keep at Range 10k km and use CN AM + Drones.
Alternate Approach <-> Keep at Range to stay inside your optimal and to help with tracking.


Tactic Bombers:
Overheat FedNavy Stasis Web <14km.
Alternate Approach <-> Keep at Range to stay inside your optimal and to help with tracking.
Use Null + drones while burning towards them .
Use CN AM + Drones (Void could also be an option) point blank.
Use paste in between the waves to keep the Faction Web in good shape !

I see this mission has gone live without any sort of iteration or dialogue. Too bad.

The aforementioned Demios works, but I have found it a bit hit or miss. It's actually very similar to the Guristas burner frig mission in the sense that there is way too much "cheating" going on by the npc to make it harder and after one or two losses i'll simply be skipping it as well.

edit: Actually, I did skip it. I do hate when they add content that I'm not going to play. Also, by chance did they bother to fix the bug whereby your drones would randomly leave their assigned target and start attacking other, equally random, targets?

So...you can use BC but not strategic cruiser, really?I'm in the middle of nowhere (the agent location) with my trusty tengu and now i need to go x jumps to some far away trade hub to buy other ship ONLY to run this mission. What a great way to waste someone's time.
At least you can quit with no consequences, thanks for that.
