CCP doesn't ban isk sellers?

There is the possibility that the OP did not actually buy any ISK, but is just trying to get someone banned by claiming to have bought ISK.

Perhaps this thread get a lock for discussing RMT, and rumor mongering?

CCP IS free...not are....CCP is ONE corporation, not two or more. Two or more - plural. One - singular. We may be dumb in some parts, but we do know subject/verb agreement.

That being said. This is really flakey. Like the guy said, you break the rules then rat on someone for breaking the rules. What saintly deed was done here? What's odder is you come in here and tell the world about it. Now, the world has this indelible impression that YOU left it...not they/or them. World is singular. There may be a lot of people ON It, but there still is only one.

You wouldn't say "The World ARE..." stop saying CCP ARE....geez.

There just isn't anything that can be said!

The answer to this is simple. CCP do not try and ban individual ISK sellers. They monitor them over a period of time to try and identify all the associated accounts and possibly the IP address ranges the accounts use and then blanket ban all of them. This can take quite a while to do, but it does not mean that CCP have ignored your report.

Sigh. If you eliminate the problem, there's no need for a solution. Ergo, the isk seller is owned by CCP who is compiling a list of isk buyers to ban.

Why? Because if you ban all the isk-buyers then isk-selling is no longer a problem that needs to be solved.


Personally, I think it would be more efficient to just get rid of isk from the game. Go with a gold tritanium standard instead.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

That would not work, you can see your own transactions logs, CCP can see them all and follow the isk flow.
CCP will investigate. they can see if and how many isk have been transfered.

There is more chance the Op bought is with the intent of using it, mentioned it to a corpie or some one else close, who informed the Op of the risk of a CCP induced biomass, thus prompting the Op to "out" the isk seller to CCP and then attempt to gain favour in the court of public opinion.

because there's little point in CCP banning the "bag man" and alerting the person behind it by eliminating one of his disposable mules. They want to investigate the whole supply chain, and the forensics of that take some time.

It's not a "bag man". The character is nearly 10 years old and has been involved with many corps and a major alliance. It's a main character.


I wouldn't be surprised if some of the alliances harbor RMT'ers. Or perhaps they lease out their space to RMT'ers.

I've never really gotten into the whole 0.0 alliance politics, but as I understand that use to be a big thing. Alliance renting out space, or harboring RMT'ers.

It's far from unique to "alliances". Indeed, hi-sec is a much better place to obfuscate RMT dealings, due to the volume and complexity of trade. And the availability of NPC stations to facilitate them between 'strangers'.
