We all know about Lady Gaga's tune, "Alejandro" and the wave of critical acclaim and criticism that it received due to it's bizarre and eccentric music video. At first glance, one might say that it's an Illuminati video with a lot of blasphemous religious symbolism and gay acts with no real meaning. If you are one of these people, fear not, my little capsuleers, for I will uncover the meaning of the whole video for you, free of charge! (Donations are most welcome, of course Big smile).

First of all, "Alejandro" is practically a musical epic with an elusive narrative that throws us into the midst of an oppressive police state. Alejandro is an aspiring young officer with homosexual tendencies. In order to cover this up, he maintains a relationship with a woman (portrayed by Lady Gaga). However, one day Alejandro's superiors discover his sexual orientation and then abuse him, ultimately leading to his death (either by suicide or by execution).
At his funeral, his lover holds his heart in her hands, saying that "she can't do this anymore", pleading him to "let her go". From this point on, she becomes Alejandro and a nun, in order to redeem his sins. This is supported by Alejandro (now Lady Gaga) swallowing rosary beads, in order to take in the holy.
The military tries to cover this up, but fails due to the further abusing of Alejandro, act that is discovered by the general public. Infuriated by this last straw, violent uprisings break out (shown in the background, various citizens running rampant in the streets with blunt weapons and fights between rioteers and police forces). In the meantime, the Nun Alejandro is shown in front of a blazing inferno, probably the fires of Hell that await him if he is not to repent his sins.
As the totalitarian state crumbles due to intense rioting, Alejandro and his Nun counterpart (remember, he is in Lady Gaga's body) are shown crumbling away to nothing, as his soul, now pure, moves on to the afterlife.

Do you, the reader, have another explanation for this video? If yes, please post your opinions!

I'm too old for Gaga and I'm pretty sure she's not a Lady ... at least I don't remember the Queen elevating Miss Gaga to such honours.

Don't anger the forum gods.

Fortunately, this is not true

So, you're a bounty hunter. No, that ain't it at all. Then what are you? I'm a bounty hunter.
