Supers/Capitals

I would like to see some new or more Super/capitals.
If you would like to see some new toys comment what you would like to see?

I would like a super that can use drones (A drone that requires Fighterbombers skill 5 and can use only 10 at a time) And can use a doomsday (But not as affective as a titan's doomsday. Possibly 978,000DPS)

caps and supercaps are next to useless in current SOV mechanics. We definitely don't need another set of useless ships before those classes are reworked.

We do not need more capital ships in the game at the moment. Right now we just need to get the current ones rebalanced before introducing new things into the variable.

Also how about telling us why we need more capitals instead of you just saying "I want that because no reason"?

Carriers have almost always been the top logi platform, that have not changed (frequency of use have changed all over the place tho)
Dreadnought are perfect for countering triage carriers, so that would mean they also have a role.
Titan and SC are bouth high dps ships with the highest EHP ingame, while also being able to recieve remote reps (siege/triage stop this on dread/carrier)

So there ARE roles for caps and supers Blink

Obligatory fix current capital problems aside, I'd like to see a capital class between dreads and carriers, for lack of a better term, a super cruiser of sorts. Can fit guns, or reps, but does not siege or triage. Can use drones, but doesn't have a silly huge drone bay. Limited high slots or powergrid to restrict the fitting to 3 or 4 capital mods per ship, or maybe a fitting bonus to capital weapons and low fitting to restrict logistics fitting.

Mostly just to create some variation in caps.

The same reasons we've always had pinky - the natural progression of escalation. Spend any substantial amount on SISI and you will inevitably fight a carrier group. 3-4 carriers and you would need a fleet if dozens of lesser ships to stop them.

See where you're coming from here, but It gets boring flying the same type of ships over and over again. This would also generate a lot of content as well!
These would help balance out the Sov mechanics being able to use lets say a drone that uses entosis and can also use an entosis link without the 5x penalty as the current capitals in game have now?

These have a special bonus that could use say, Drones with entosis links? and each drone speeds up the time by say a minute? But can only have 5 of these deployed at a time?

Do you remember why CCP added the role bonus increasing entosis cycle time on all caps? Because they don't want caps to be viable option for SOV grind anymore. And whatever you're asking for is directly against that.
