Great Wildlands used to be THE hotspot for pvp long time ago. Today its a cemetary.

Reason is probably due to the region lacking station polarity. You got 4 stations, all within close proximity of 4 jumps. E02, M-M(x2) and N-DQ. Rest of the region is empty.

CCP could spawn some more stations in GW, creating polarity. Some sov alliances could use those stations as midpoints, or npc safe havens, and that would make things interesting again. Areas like 92-BOX , QM-, M-YWAL, N-RAEL, PUZ, etc).

Or, CCP could keep some pockets as npc space (maybe areas connecting to low and other 0.0npc, like curse, molden heath, metropolis) and convert portion of the region into sov. Not really sure about sov, probably not very appealling, but definitely a couple of more stations in GW, even if it remains 100% npc would bring some people in, and give incentives for pvp, other than EBOLA camping 7Q :D

Give GW some luv

With the regular 12.500 people online these days, pretty much everywhere is a cemetary (lowsec and nullsec wise)

Not more stations, but move one of the 4 stations to another area. GW is "home" to the nomadic Thukker Tribe, they do not follow a sedentary life and the 4 stations in their ancient home is all they need as a gathering point to exchange information, goods and restock for new journeys. What capsuleers want is of no concern to them and should remain so as it would go against their culture and nature.

With the coming Citadels, however, you yourself can set up your own stations in GW and make them accessible to everyone. that should solve your problem in a fantastic manner.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Your argument is inherently flawed. GW used to be the hotspot for PVP. It had only four stations in close proximity then. It still does. If it is no longer a PVP hotspot, the four stations are not the issue.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.
