So I come back and apparently "EVE is dying" and I step outside the POS I left off at and the entire system is now in Russian. What is going on EVE? I feel like I was in cryo sleep this whole time and just woke up.

So what is the big things to happen? How have things changed since 2011?? Yes yes, I know, "a lot" but is there anything specific that's a big deal suddenly?

One thing to note, I was searching the internet to see how popular EVE is now a days before I came back in. But then I thought, if the player login rate is an issue, and I choose NOT to come back because there aren't as many players, don't I add to the problem? Well, here is to one more player back in. Now... like I said... can someone bring me up to speed??

The game is now 70% Russians and they RMT left & right. A few of us are still clinging on, Goons work together with BOB to fight them but honestly the game is fcked, market is fcked, they jacked up the plex prices, caused the player drop, own all the devs and the whole of 0.0.

You're just better off to stop playing again.

How come everything russian? Are you russophobic? What part of space you are about? Some regions are currently under rus sov but it's always been like that. A lot of things happen for the last 4 years. Eve is dying, online is dropping, PLEX is rising. Actually nothing got changed seriously. Welcome back.

When i first came to null, Drone Regions and the south were solidly Russian, you you alliances like Against all authorities, Red Alliance, Red Alliance, White Noise etc etc that were heavily Russian/Eastern European and so on.

If anything, the game is significantly less Russian now than it was when I started playing. There are Russian groups my alliance skirmishes with nearby, but not like it used to be.

That cant be right - Google puts 1.75 pints to a litre, so 18 litres is about 31 pints. Thats not even one a week. If that's considered dangerous, I'm royally screwed!
