Activation / overloading modules keyboard shortcuts behave inconsistently when modules are moved...

Hi,

Apologies if this is a bit confusing.

I like to move my modules around on the main screen for easier access. I appreciate it's a slightly less conventional way of operating, but I find it more convenient grouping items slightly differently than just the standard high / medium / low racks.

For example (with just two modules):

Put a MWD (a mid slot module) into the first slot of the top row
Put a Gun (a high slot module) into the first slot of the bottom row

Bind F1 to Activate high slot 1
Bind Ctrl+F1 to Overload high slot 1
Bind Ctrl+1 to Overload high rack
Bind Alt + F1 to Activate low slot 1
Bind Ctrl+Alt+F1 to Overload low slot 1
Bind Ctrl+3 to Overload low rack

Press F1 = MWD activates
Because it's the first item in the top row
Press Ctrl+F1 = MWD overloads
Because it's the first item in the top row
Press Ctrl+1 = Guns overload...
Because it's actually the high slot module

Press Alt + F1 = Gun activates
Because it's the first item in the bottom row
Press Ctrl+Alt+F1 = Gun overloads
Because it's the first item in the bottom row
Press Ctrl+3 = Nothing happens
Because there aren't any low slots fitted

If you then bind Ctrl+2 to Overload medium rack it'll overload the MWD.

It seems that EvE treats some of the shortcuts as relating to the physical location where the icon is located, except when overloading the entire rack which is based on the actual fitting characteristics.

Suggest just having it so that it activates / overloads the top / middle / bottom row of items only? This will mean that those people who have the top row as highs / middle row as mids / bottom row as lows can carry on as normal, and those people (like me) who move things around can also use those shortcuts too.

Just a thought.

Cheers,

G.
