There was a moon lander game on a TI-99/4a that I played in a grade school computer class.

First computer my family owned was an Apple IIe, first game on that was Lady Tut.

Never had a console...probably a good thing! Spent my childhood riding bikes, climbing trees, fishing and generally tearing around the great outdoors instead.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Something on the atari 2600, possibly dig dug or donkey kong.

First game i properly played? Monkey Island and a load of pirated pinball games on the Amiga 500.

The first I can actually remember is playing Super Mario Bros on the original NES. I was about 4 years old at the time, My cousin had given my family the console as a gift and we only had that game to start withCool

I played Super Mario and managed to save the princess up to aroud 3 times without game over.
Of course, I used the 2 level jumps to speed up time.

Then there was Duck Hunt with the hand gun , which if you held to the top left corner of the TV (on a good TV),
you could kill all the ducks automatically.
It is an actual cheat code.
Easy to get the high score.

I played this with a Machine Language programmer who worked on the Ghostbuster arcade version video game.

Bizarrely enough, I also have a fully functional 48k rubber beermat, it's sat on the shelf along with a BBC model B, an Acorn Archimedes and an Amiga 500.

I remember playing Mischief Makers and Golden Eye 007 way back in the 90's. But alas, that was a long time ago.
