Dear fellow capsuleers,

This is a brief statement from #EVE_NT Collides after today’s news from CCP Logibro about the results from their investigation into the alleged collusion between the Warlords of the Deep team and The Camel Empire team.

#EVE_NT Collides is an organisation built on volunteers with love for the game and competitive EVE tournaments. For that reason only, do we cumulatively feel saddened by the news earlier tonight and fear it does not work towards a more popular EVEsports future. Despite being a player led organisation we do work very closely with CCP on this project, and although free to make our own decisions, we take their guidance in tough times like these.

We do not form a public opinion on the dealings of either team and will not discuss anything related to that on this thread. We are merely going from the facts and guidelines now stated clearly by CCP Logibro on behalf of CCP.

Bob Shaftoes has stepped down as Co-Host for #EVE_NT Collides as he is now banned from CCP Alliance Tournament until 2017. Bob has left on good terms and on his own accord for the greater good of the #EVE_NT Collides project. We want to thank Bob for all his efforts and hard work he gave to #EVE_NT Collides and the live event #EVE_NT and we wish him all the best in the future.

The Warlords of the Deep team will remain in the Collides tournament. Kadesh Priestess is stepping down as executor hereby allowing the Warlords of the Deep members in his alliance to continue on their own terms, and to continue in competitive EVEsports.

As per the statement made earlier by CCP Logibro The two characters found guilty in this case are Kadesh Priestess and Bob Shaftoes, neither of which are now part of the #EVE_NT Collides team or participants. All other members in either organisations are excluded by these bans and are allowed to participate in competitive EVEsports and for this same reason I am happy to announce both Suitonia and Chessur have chosen to remain part of the project as commentators.

All of us at #EVE_NT Collides are looking forward to this seasons matchups and cannot wait for Sunday 11th October when at 19:00 EVE time we will be starting the very first fight of the season with Shadow Cartel Vs Hardknocks.

See you there!

Kind regards,

Nashh Kadavr

It's sad to see Bob go.

Neither the #EVE_NT Collides nor the #EVE_NT Nottingham Tournament would have gotten off the ground as effectively without his help and I thank him massively for his contribution.
