As far as I can tell this bug is indeed fixed with BIAB. Feel free to test yourself on Singularity.

What's this about 'most'? clearly you do not understand how things work.
Where is your data on 'most'? Did you do a census or is it pure speculation from self mindedness?

As for my personal opinion - Yes, offgrid boosting need to change. No, it should not be completely removed.. As you're implying 'most' of us want.
