Why every time I think it's time to really move on from EVE, stuff like this appear?

Seagull, I love and hate you. You don't even imagine how much.

Is the direction of the jump dependent on just the destroyer or is it independent for each ship caught in the field? Can you enter the field during warmup to join in on the jump? Are relative positions preserved or does it distribute ships like a fleet warp? Are velocities preserved or set to full in the direction of the jump like an MJD? What's the range of the field? How are we meant to stop neutrals from MJGFing targets we are engaging in highsec? How are we meant to stop neutrals from MJGFing bumped ships not only away from the bumper but into full alignment (and if this is the intent, competent people escape bumping already, it doesn't need to be made braindead)? Can they be activated in range of a station or gate or is this prohibited like a smartbomb? I'm interested but WORRIED. This sounds potentially really broken.

What's the "Tribute System"? It sounds like another ISK faucet, something we definitely don't need.

The rest sounds great and/or exciting.

CCP Seagull just warped in and activated the speculation hype-train field generator on the Eve Playerbase Shocked

the AoE MJD just raises so many questions, I think you just asked most of them. all these announcements and no context on most of them X

as for the tribute system I would imagine it would be LP based so it would end up being an isk sink, but....

I'm really excited reading about all of these features!! Love the direction the game is going.. <3 CCP Seagull

My only complaint would be the ship rusting feature. I experienced that back on SISI last year and it looked horrible.. sorry I know everyone has different tastes.. I love the ships in this game, which is why I don't love rust on them.. that takes away their natural awesomeness. Please don't require me to pay a daily fee to remove rust from from all of my ships. The ability to turn this off would be very ideal. I am suspecting you want it to be an isk sink though.. so if possible can it happen rather slowly over time and perhaps can there be a "clean all ships" button for a single click isk value instead of one at a time or active ship only cleaning? I know details have not been released, so my assumptions might be totally off base.. these are just my initial thoughts.

Thank you for the gamma slider.. I asked about that specifically once. <3
Looking forward to an exciting future in Eve!

So falloff for neuts, but not nos? Falloff for nos could really go a long ways to making the Cruor a very viable faction frigate, at least solo.

It all looks good I just wish I could play the damn game, so you can make a ship go rusty but you can’t give the likes of me who are colour blind a way of setting colours so I (we) can see an attacker arrive on grid.

All I (we) ask is either a colour slider to set an adjustable ‘red’ so we can see it, or a set of colour ‘themes’ so we can pick a scheme to suite our degree of colour deficiency. We already have this for the windows so why not for the icons/brackets?

You know you can, for the overview, change the color for people with different standings? (also affects the chat window)

if you open your overview settings, go to the appearance tab, there's a little down arrow next to the icon, where you can pick a color.

Woo! CSM XI!

I was aware of the colour picker for the overview, but the icons/brackets I mean are the actual ‘in space’ stuff. Changing the colour of the overview does not (as far as I am aware), change the in space icons especially the NPC icons which from my tests are still almost impossible to see (for me) unless they are from bigger ships.

So, yes I can see a hostile ship approach if they first appear on the overview but if not then I cannot see them approach until I am targeted, by then it’s too late.
The older big red cross filled the bill very well but as we now have all this space clutter with tiny icons all over the place colour deficient people like me need all the help we can get.

But there, it has been said many times before and by many other and more illustrious players than me and little has changed; CCP will do what CCP does best. But thanks for your answer.

Rust and dirt on ships due to their continuous use...

This little thing for me the best news.

The ships looks fine. But they looks new. I hate this.
Now we can see, how many fights happend, how many times, we used the ship, I will love this feature.

What a shame..spring 2016 ?

" and due to technical difficulties we pushed citadels to winter 2016"

what the hell they are lacking ? expertise ? resources ? planning? leadership ? what is wrong with this company..

That means next fan fest will be advertising for 2018 patches...right ?

I'm all for new ships and new modules, but.... can we please do so while also avoiding adding more new skills?

For older players, such as myself, with 150M+ SP, new skills are no big deal. We have nothing else to train, except for those level 5 gunnery & missile specialization skills anyways (2% more damage... yay!). So, we just pause the year long list of skills we were training; and train up the new skills to level 5, as soon as they comes out. No problem - all done, so go back to year long queue. Easy peasy.

But, for younger players, adding more new skills increases the skill gap between them and the older players - and, as long as you continue to add more skills, esp. for new modules, they will never have the chance to even try to narrow this gap. It is particularly frustrating for new players (and works against the whole idea of giving them more additional SP with which to start out) - try telling them that it will take them 5+ RL years to be able to fly all the subcap ships, and use all the weapons at the same skill level as most of the older players... hmm.....

We already have plenty of skills in the game - several of which are only good for one particular ship or one particular module - we really do not need more. So, please consider simply reusing the existing skills for the new ships and new modules.

Thank you.

Please re-design the Rupture / Broadsword hull. Right now it looks like an old wooden pirate ship, with rocket thrusters.

The Ares / Atron hull also needs a redesign.

I have to say that this roadmap is good for the moral. I especialy wait for everything who will update the UI, and the gamma adjustment slider can really help for that as I have serious troubles to play since the dark-only UI direction from CCP. I also hope for a change of the stargate effect, this bubble of light in the middle is a real seizure weapon.

But Citadels in 2016 is partially disappointing. Most of the alliances today are waiting and that means less big conflicts since last summer, with consequences for the market and for the game overall. I understand that CCP prefer take his time for something who will be a major change of the gameplay, but I wonder if the game can really wait (logged numbers, etc.).

Yawn,  I'm right as usual. The predictability kinda gets boring really.
