The cancer, that is botting....what is CCP doing?

So its getting to the stage in eve, botting is getting more and more out of control, the russians control the market because of bots..they control the supercap distribution and hold more illegal isk than any other population in the game.

What is ccp doing about this? sweet fuk all. Numerous times I have reported 100% OBVIOUS bots and they have done nothing.

Now what defines an obvious bot?

 1. Age for a start, you jump into a system with a noctis and raven on scan, guaranteed they are 5 minutes apart in age
 2. Stupid names, random stuff like Wdmnahd23
 3. They reject convo's....why do they do this? Auto reject must be on. Why? because most bots use pixel recognition and having something in the middle of the screen "confuses" the bot
 4. Instawarp to pos/safe whenever you enter local, everytime, without fail. You will never jump in and find them already in a pos unless someone has passed through just before you, even real people need to go and take a wicked shite or get some food
 5. Sometimes when you do catch them or land on grid with them, they log off in attempt to save their ship

I came across a good example today, in the system of 5-U12M, russian space.

I jump in after logging off next door last night at 2200 or so, I remember my corp mate reporting them all in local as our gang was passing through. He said EIGHT ravens and a noctis just all warped to the pos as I jumped in.

So I jump in and all these ravens and the noctis are not on scan, I quickly hit scanner to get anoms...too late, they already all hit scanner at once in warp to their badly defended small tower. I check the characters ages, all of them were born on 08/26/2011 between 2240 and 2255.

I sit around in the system for 15 minutes and the downtime message pops up, the all log off same time, give 0.3 seconds between all of them.

Now the russian timezome, technically they should be in bed no? well if they where all logged on 12 hours ago and still logged on now and IF they log on after downtime, which I am sure they will.....CCP is blind and do not care, they could have 3 members of staff out of the hundreds they have, go around in their polaris frigate and cloak in local or whatever, and check which ratters are legit. IT IS NOT HARD, HELL, HIRE ME.

So what is CCP doing, comment...I would like to see you're input.

From what I see, its sweet fk all.

There is no cure for cancer, so what can you do against botting?

but they don't always kill the bots as soon as they are reported - you know follow the money etc...

Bot accounts inflate PLEX demand. If you want to take advantage of bots, sell a PLEX or two. Sure, it makes you somewhat complicit since you're "technically" paying their account sub for them. But it makes you ISK you don't have to farm yourself.

PLEX = Rent a Bot.

I know sometimes it's difficult to realize just how much you spend on incidental things each month or year, but seriously, EVE is very cheap entertainment compared to most things... If you are a smoker, smoke one less pack a week and pay for EVE, with money left over to pick up a cheap bundle of flowers for the EVE widow upstairs.

With a little creativity, effort, and some logging games, bots = free hulk kills.

CCP Zulu.....      Forcing players to dock at the captain's quarters is a form of what we actually wanted to get through, which is making Incarna a seamless part of the EVE Online experience. (i like to steal sigs)
