I was just about to complain about the EVE soundtrack library being just a horrible mess on Soundcloud, and ask for a single-package download in .mp3 or something else properly cleaned up and nicely labeled. I'm having to go through and manually properly label the tracks and insert the album info onto them, and with nearly 70 tracks, it's REALLY REALLY ANNOYING.

But in general, EVE could use a major sound revamp on the music side, taking a lot of cues from the iconic themes that others have noted, and more importantly, taking cues from the recent trailers like 'This is EVE' and Emergent Threats to really kick it up a notch.

Wonderful Discussion,

Certainly, the music of eve, both past and present were truly great compositions.

The "Art of New Eden" hardcover book was recently released and put forth for sale.

Two Thoughts...

- Could similar be done for the Music of the past? produced by CCP in limited runs, and offered as a special edition product for those interested?

- Alternativley? similar concept, but incorperated into the New Eden Store a way to purchase the "Jukebox" through micro transations?

Both providing the music to players who enjoy it, and CCP with additional funding.

I added Aegis release theme to list.

I have been working this issue (=how to control EVE music) a lot recently and this is answer. It seems that I can download EVE music from EVE Files and my keyboard has extra programmable keys to control media player. I programmed one key to open my media player, load all music from one directory (EVE music in it) and start playing music automatically. While EVE client is up I can pause music, play music, activate next song and activate previous song without going out from EVE client.

Here is command line example how to load music player and load EVE music with one keystroke:
C:\mediaplayerdirectory\mediaplayer.exe C:\musicdirectory

I have Logitech keyboard so I needed to download software to control media player keys. Software is called Setpoint.

My keyboard is Logitech Media Keyboard 600.
