Command Ship Bonuses

Howdy!

Something I do not understand.....well one of the things :)

Do Command Ships need to be on grid to apply bonuses or can they be anywhere in the system?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Command ships dont need to be ongrid to provide a boost from active links. They can be anywhere in the system as long as they are in space (they cant be in warp since it turnes of the links)
