I got burned out on Eve about 5 months ago, and after I stopped playing, Minmatar took back a lot of systems from the Amarr.

After I quit, once in awhile, in the back of my mind.. I'd think to myself that this would be a good time to log in and grind out some loyalty points. However, the notion of grinding just turned me away. So I played other games instead.

Anyhow, I just re-subbed and I'm looking for people to play with. I am actually interested in grinding out some loyalty points by doing FW missions but I need help to not get myself blown up. The last time I tried running an L4 FW mission, I lost my purifier to the NPC's - a terrible mistake; it says a lot about my ability to run these missions. I think that was one of the last straws for me before I stopped playing. I still want to run those missions because I definitely need to make some ISK and L4 FW missions are more interesting to me than grinding incursions.

Which Minmatar FW corps are the most popular right now? Who should I go to for help in running L4 FW missions?

I have 21 million skills points and have been playing off & on since 2008.

let me first start off by saying, yes the purifier is great for solo missions IF u dont have to dodge mission hunters all night.

We in STUN, changed over to 2 times a week, we form up a Jackdaw fleet and farm the missions. so do about 80 missions in an 2 hrs. we bring 8 Jackdaws, 1 Vigil and 1 scram/web tackle. This gets us about 5-20 kills and we finish the missions in about 20 sec to 2 mins. depends on which one. Most of the time we just 2 volley and warp to the next one. Its just wrong. But atm T3Ds do less DPS, but keep most mission hunters away.

I would really look into getting with us, UNITY, or HASH if u want a good group in Minmil that can help you get isk and solid pvp.

Lowhyres, that's...almost exactly what I've been looking for. I don't have the skills to fly the Jackdaw, but I'd be willing to train into it to fly with you guys. I rarely get time to play but I'd love to join you guys sometime. I'll send you a message in game sometime.

PS. I wanted to add that what you just described is almost exactly what I'm looking for is for 2 reasons:

1) Just as you said, flying in a gang lessens issues with having to dodge mission hunters.
2) It's more fun when it's a social experience. Farming anything solo is boring as hell.

I had a short period of time where I was grinding lv 4 FW ls missions... using not a stealth bomber like everyone else mind you, but no less a fleet issue temptest.

I didnt join a corp that ran missions though, they did pvp, and I joined to do pvp. Late Night Alliance and Rage, were the two I am thinking of, and I had tons of fun with them! we didnt fly anything too expensive or large, and was a rather good group of folk imho, always had jokes to tell, we always had someone suicidal willing to start an engagement... and well, I learned a lot.

To give points on mission running... ahh, Ahh I know is I have like a 9.2 standing with Tribal Liberation Force, the Minmatar corp for FW... I always use a cov ops cloaky alt to scout my way, one jump at a time, making safes in each system in the area... cloak up and wait for it to be clear... or push your way thru with the ol mwd/cloak trick... that always seemed to work for me. I only lost one tempest in a mission and made tons of LP.

I would choose blitzy missions, so read up on each FW mission type and the specifics and choose wisely, they spawn randomly in the area, so youll have to traverse thru low sec to get to the mission system. this can be a pain in the ass if you are like me, and have a strong work eithic? ... ahh and want to continuously grind for hours, on end but non stop and very quickly turning out mission after mission as quickly as possible.

I devised a tactic that helped me: I basically, use my FW mission guy to run around in a cov ops frig, accept all the missions in your local region, IIRC I have about 12 lv 4 mission agents near the Amamake area, and would create a loop, basically. do this in the first 30 min... and get back to the BS. Set destination so that it is logical to do the mission closest to you, then move to the next system, usually just one or three systems near by... on avg... at least.

once you blitz the missions, then dock up where you started, and get ur cov ops to run back to the station where the agents are, and finish the missions.

I thought it was crazy to bring a frigate into a lv 4... Ive done a weird fit with the wolf to do it... but a bomber? i never tried it, maybe it works fast, but i would be able to blitz the lv 4 with the tempest within 3-5 minutes each site... just warp in, pop the 4 transports, or the force field, get the cargo can... etc, warp out. Id use a buffer fit, with mwd and a cloak, full rack of tracking enhancers and gryos for dps and delivery of that dos. some mission rooms were a little bit of a reach for me with my low skills at the time, so Id fit three TE' and three Gryos, and a DCt2... in the lows, just to help minimize the amount my ship has to move into position.

My typical strategy actually for using auto cannons and tempests or sleipnirs for missions or sites, would be to burn straight in as quickly as possible and get in optimal for the dps to take down the incoming.

the buffer just buffs the smaller stuff while i kill the blitz or dps on field (trigger BS).

My concept was, the more time ur on grid, the more likely youll get ganked... so if you can get in system with no warning or attention, warp the system wide warpable beacon for your mission, burn off the beacon asap, and get off the warp in, position to blitz... and warp out, you can make some fast isk.

stick and move, never stay in one place too long
use an out of corp alt in a cov ops frig for quick mobility scouting
set up a chain or loop of missions where you pre accept mission in bulk, set up 6 for your first time, and see if you can do 6 before the mission timers run out, work your way up from there.
mwd/cloak trick off the gates where you have company or hostiles... they will try to bump you, but if you travel fit, youll be good to go, the tempest moves quickly with a few nanos in the lows to assist your align time and insta warp when decloaking...
use safes in local (try to avoid stations) use mobile depot to change fits, and scoop it back up immediately after use. always watch d scan every ten seconds

remember, a lot of dps, a lot of tracking and range, so you can deliver that dps, get in and get out quickly, and always use a cloak and mwd... :)

best of luck, go make millions!
