The launcher loads up, the blue bar runs across, then it goes grey and just sits there..

Reinstall required?

Well that didn't work.... tried a reinstall now it won't even start.

Well, I tried again and now have even less....

I deleted the tree, and the Application Support tree, and reinstalled the client.

I run the command line adding the --args /server stuff and the command line returns but the game won't load.
I can run the game sans launcher, but then I get "Incompatible Release" errors.

So it looks like Singularity is broken? Or what do I do next?

I'm done trying to fight my way in for tonight, but if anyone has any ideas I'd be glad to hear them tomorrow.

Probably best to create a new copy from your TQ client for Singularity.

Thanks for that advice, but that's what I did.

1) Let the TQ client launcher patch everything all the way up
2) Shut down the TQ client and launcher
3) Clone the TQ client to a SI Client (following process documented and followed countless times before)
4) TQ client still works, SI client still exhibits same behavior

Is Sisi broken for Macs? Perhaps that is the issue, as I have found it to be in the past.

No, It is not broken because my launcher opened up perfectly and gave it a few minutes before It was ready. Patients is best

Well, good news.

I made no changes and it's working, responsively, now.

Well, spoke too soon.. Apparently my success was limited to my "work computer" (upstairs). Now that I'm back on my "game computer" (downstairs), I'm getting the same behavior even with a completely new install with a client DMG downloaded today.

So, now my next question:

Where I can find the logs that would help me diagnose what's going wrong on this computer?

The log files for the launcher can be found in the client sub-folder \launcher\cache\. Look for the newest one and you might find some hints there on what is failing.
