I just find it funny they released something and then took it away and nobody seems to care lol

You're going to care when the buggers come and burn you out of your holes.

This is going to be a content vehicle, that can be used as a counter for lower player log in's.

Those that are sour about the lack of gud fights will be provided for, If the population can't generate content, then A.I.
will be the back up.

I'm interested to see if the feature will mesh with citadels. If incursions follow you back home like seekers/drifters do.......

It will be worth the wait however it turns out.

CCP has a long history of promising stuff and not delivering. Get used to it.

But here are some new skins for you in lieu of "content." Roll

I liked your post, just so I could unlike it.

When a person is insane, as you clearly are, do you know that you're insane? Maybe you're just sitting around, reading 'Guns and Ammo', masturbating in your own faeces...do you just stop and go, 'Wow! It is amazing how f*cking crazy I really am!'?

Yes.

They do have a jaded history of falling short with larger features, or leaving things broken or "as is"

But did you even read this thread? Or do you just like to drop poisonous little snippets here and there for your own amusement?

The feature was causing issues.
They pulled it to sort those issues out.
They will be re - implementing the feature when it's functioning as it was on the test servers.

Not: Soon (tm)
Not: One day
Not: After we fix or implement yada yada yada.....

It's a main piece of the direction the Devs are moving the game towards, including tie in's with lore, and the evolving story line.
It's being attended to now, and will be delivered working as intended.

This isn't the old CCP. This is a new CCP actually giving a ****. Some people like skins. I don't, but some like to play dress up.
I don't buy them, but i don't begrudge them. Little improvements regardless if they affect me are not part of the problem.

Unwarranted negativity is.
You don't need to offer continuous words of encouragement but you can keep your criticism constructive.

The Summer Of Rage called......they want their attitude back.

I read on reddit there was a Yeti walking down to Wall st.Roll

Maybe I'm thinking this backwards, but I associate a fiasco with being somehow bad. I don't see anything inherently problematic with what you stated, thus my question stands.

The point is that it was probably going to be exceedingly difficult to fund a war with the Drifters as powerful as they were made. Without any reasonable compensation for the massive losses, there is not enough incentive.

Consider that in every engagement, it is highly likely that you or one of your ships will be destroyed with a 750000 omni-damage weapon, probably more than once. Then consider that the Incursion is meant to spread, unlike Sansha Incursions. Basically, it is like a SOV war with bots that are almost impossible to counter.

Damningly so, the event limits the rewards you get from completing the missions as more and more people are involved. So, not only will it guarantee the loss of ships, but those ships have to be large enough to compete, and in small numbers(which limits the applied DPS). Otherwise the rewards are close to nothing.

It was designed to be an ISK sink, if you are almost guaranteed to lose ships. And the rewards for defeating them were too small to compensate the losses.

If there were actual benefits, rewards to giving away billions of ISK in ships, there would be more incentive to run the Incursions, aside from hoping the entire cluster doesn't fall to the Drifters, which would be the eventuality if they were not opposed.

I'm not against a real challenge. But the idea, in its current form, smells of "ISK Sink". So that we are forced to buy PLEX to maintain the war effort.

If the Alliances could put aside their warring and unite to fight them, it could make sense. It could be feasible. But how can we trust all of these Alliances to ceasefire while this event is happening?

It's not necessarily that it couldn't be farmed that's the issue. It's that the loss far outweighs the reward.

For Amarr LP, Carl. To die for Amarr LP, Carl.
As some claim.
They done the cleanup in the lore.
It is possible to put them on the shelf until better times.
Yes, they come back.
Most likely to return after the coronation of of the new emperor.
Question.
Why are drifters not become destroy the strategically important objects Amarr Empire Question
If they want to attack the state.
