EVE New Citizens Q&A

Hi,
I have EVE installed on my disk drive /E
however my 'shared cache location' appears to be installed in disk drive /C

It's current location is:
C:\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\SharedCache\

I'd like to move it over to the same drive the game is installed:
E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Eve Online

Although i'm not sure of the right location to move it to.

My main reason i'd like to do this, is i've read it will improve performance.
As i'm currently experiencing freezes and hitches when un-docking, going through stargates and warping.

I've heard downloading all the resource files,, and having the 'shared cache location' on the same drive as the main game - is a solution to these specific: freeze/hitch issues.

Using the launcher I can browse, to select a new folder for the cache location.
However - i'm not sure of the correct place to move it to; within the Eve directory on my other disk drive.

well it appears i have been dumb. Turns out the bulk of EVE (13gb~) is actually installed on disk drive /C
so that solves that.. :/
My c drive is an SSD albeit a small one.

i've checked the 'download all the resource files and now it's 'downloading updates' in the launcher window 1.55gb.

So - i guess that's a wrap.
