So said my boss a couple hours ago.

I'm not really that upset. I was frustrated with my boss; he was frustrated with me. Things just weren't working out very well. Sometimes it's not about the work; just the people.

Anyway, I'm not here to complain.

I'm in the NYC area, so there are tons of options for me as a developer. But it's best to get gigs through your network when you can. I've been playing and posting here for a long time, so I thought I'd throw it out there.

I'm mostly a Python, (My, Post, MS, Lite) SQL person. At least, that's what I want to be doing. My past includes things like C#, Java, and enterprisesy stuff like that. I've got 10 years experience with databases, and more than 5 with Python, C# .net and half a dozen other languages.

My focus has been in the market research industry with a lot of data analytics, and web-driven payments applications.

Kind of niche, I guess. But so it goes.

If anyone is shopping, I'm looking. Interested in part-time contract as well as full time work. My last salary was 167k USD plus equity and benefits. I'm not saying less than that is a dealbreaker, but that's what I'm used to, and I'm worth every penny.

Would love to make a deal with a fellow EvE player.

Thanks, everyone.

I honestly feel like I just read fifty shades of dumb. --CCP Falcon

You have the right attitude mate. Personalities, shared or unshared personal values, blah blah blah and more blah-blah, etc. can easily overshadow ability/"performance." Hope the community here steps up and helps connect you with your next place. GL!
