Hello Players and CCP,

Just looking for any updates on the status of EVE and El Capitan.

EVE has the Vanguard patch on the 29th, and El Capitan comes out the 30th.

Do we have any information on how well it works. . . blah blah blah!!!!!

I installed El Capitan GM. Eve works out of the Box on my Macbook Pro Retina.

Hopefully though, CCP supports it this time, unlike Yosemite

Hopefully, since I just bought macbook pro 15 (2015) and EVE hangs in many cases. For example docking up situations it may take long time for graphics update. It also crashed in Jita.

I do not want to go back into Windows since 10 is utter garbage. Over 25 years of Windows and I had it.

Unfortunately, I had an opposite experience with the GM client. Ended up having to reformat the hard drive just to get yosemite up and running again. I'm hopeful this won't be a recurring issue, but my hopes are somewhat reserved.

I'm running an Early 2011 MBP and it has no problems under the El Capitan Public Betas.

I've been testing a lot of machines in the office with El Capitan, while we aren't ready to officially announce support just yet, it's looking pretty good.

And yes, so far so good...

CCP Sledgehammer - would be possible to get an update on the whole Mac EVE client. Would be a nice gift for all of us. Plus, maybe if your having issues with something, someone might be able to help you figure it out (There are more of us than you).

NEVER UPDATED TO THE OTHER OS

Solid State Core and I am not screwing around with massive changes in data and distribution of that data on my system.

NOPE. I bought this MacBook for one reason.........EvE ONLINE. No regrets, and I'm happy to be a stick in the mud.

Will any new OS make my graphics better....NO, sound better.....NO, and NOPE on Pew Pew better too.


BUT.........I will always believe that an OS named RED will make me 3 times faster everyone else, lol.

Just installed EL Capitan and the games seems to work fine. Only problem is I don't have the option in my client settings for my external monitor any longer.

BOB is my Co-Pilot.

What? You had options in your EVE settings for your eternal monitor?
I didn't relieze there was ever that option

Resolution size
UI Scale

Those are the only ones I know of.

Lucky you. My EVE client is unstable since I updated to El Capitan. User support says that El Capitan is not officially supported yet. Unfortunately I didn‘t check compatibility beforehand What?
