Is it just me or did they remove the "Asteroid Is depleted" UI audio... and casually forget to mention it in the patch notes.

EDIT:

You also seem to have removed the little line that goes from your turret to its target on strip miners... but the icon for the strip miner on its target still lights up so you can still tell.... hopefully both these things are bugs.

It's all still there; you just require more Vespene Gas.

Obligatory, "EVE has sound?"

To be honest, I don't know how long I've had most sound turned-off, that I didn't even notice Below The Asteroids was gone Cry

Check your sound settings on the ESC menu.

It's a known bug since yesterday's Vanguard release. They're working on it.

not sure on the sound bit but for the other, go to your overview settings, go to the misc tab, and there is a line that says "display active module links" make sure that is checked.

Yep, its not working.

The Highlighting also only works from "hover highslot->highlight astro" not vica versa.

Sometimes it does seem like the 'asteroid is depleted' doesn't sound off but I think most times it does. We always have sound on although you only get sound effects nowadays as the music and the jukebox has been removed. I mourn the days when we used to get music in missions, asteroid belts etc. We do like listening to the mining lasers pummelling away asteroids - tis a comforting sound. Big smile

I don't think we have played EVE much since the third week in August though sadly. Probably part of the continual & overall drop-off in playing EVE which makes me sad. I expect my training has stopped so I should get back online and sort it out. The bad weather will be back soon in the UK though with heavy rain from Monday. A twenty-five metre sink hole appeared in St. Albans the other day which I believe can be triggered by a lack of rain. So bad weather may bring us back to you CCP Seagull. Lets cross our fingers anyway. Smile
