Ribbons are at 2009 prices, yes, but taking into account the 250% inflation (rough estimate of difference in PLEX prices) it's still **** money. Also incursion people are the eve equivalent of bronies irl. One wants to punch the faggitry out of them, but in both cases it is against the law to do so (the law in eve being concord).

Solo dread is the main isk making method in c5/c6 space now and it's not worthwhile salvaging when you could run another site in the same time for more blue loot. The price for ribbons is mainly driven by the largest producers which I'm guessing would be c5/c6.

Supply and demand. My guess.

You used to be able to make an ishtar work in c2's, was shield fit then not sure if that will still work.

You can fit basically any T1 cruiser or better to run C2s *shrug*.

Gilas are better than Ishtars at the moment; the nerf to midslots has harmed their ability to solo C2's efficiently, but so too has the nerf to sentries. Gila is another 150M on top of an ishtar, but you don't need as many skills and your drones are tougher.

That said, Myrm is probably better than an Ishtar these days, if only because it's cheap. You don't need the ishtar's mobility to take sleepers out, it's not PVP (well, we'd hope) and the payback is 2-3 sites.

The Navy Drake is showing promise, post-buff which is coming, but for the price you are paying I still think the Gila is the superior choice. Cyclones are also going to be a bit more doable, purely from the projection bonus, because you can get within range of the Sleepers a bit better. Cyclones will still suck, though.

I wouldn't even bother with harbingers or canes. The Prophecy will be better, thanks to the drone speed buff, which allows you to shunt your Berserkers across the field faster to do DPS. Plus then getting them back when the aggro switches (unless you use a projected ECCM to lock the aggro to yourself).

PLEX is the only thing that is more expensive though. Faction BS and deadspace mods are at all time lows as are most T2/T3 ships. If you don't buy PLEX with ISK then your purchasing power now is higher than it was in 2009.

Man if this keeps going MNR prices could go up to 2010 or 2011 where there was a brief sprint where they where 9-10 mil.
