Oh yeah one more thing, Fanfest 2015 coincided with a Solar Eclipse,

Evesterdam will coincided with a Lunar Eclipse called the Blood Moon

Quote:
It's a Rare Eclipse of a Supermoon

The full Moon of September 27/ 28 is a Super Full Moon – the Moon will be closest to the Earth. or at its perigee, as it turns into a full Moon. A rising Super Full Moon can look larger and brighter to spectators on Earth.
Total eclipses of Super Full Moons are rare. According to NASA, they have only occurred 5 times in the 1900s – in 1910, 1928, 1946, 1964 and 1982. After the September 27/ 28, 2015 Total Lunar Eclipse, a Super Full Moon eclipse will not happen again for another 18 years, until October 8, 2033.

This total lunar eclipse is fully visible in Amsterdam. The total lunar eclipse is sometimes called a blood moon, as the moon turns red.
Lunar eclipses are some of the most spectacular and easy to view astronomical events. Unlike solar eclipses, which require specialized eyewear, a lunar eclipse can be viewed with the naked eye.

Total Eclipse begins in Amsterdam Monday morning the 28 Sep, 02:11 with a Maximum at 4.47 AM

Had there been day tickets available I definately would have been there.

Had a good time last year and this year's event is guaranteed to be even better so I wish you all a good time.

Had a totally awesome time. Sadly I could not make it the second day, but the experience of the first day more than made up for it for me. The demo's were a blast, the presentations of excellent quality (although last years' presentation of "The Hulkageddon Guy" is a tough act to follow), the party was an astounding display of selfcontrol (while under the influence) by everybody, and the players present made my day: everyone was so open and friendly. Special shoutout to CCP for the party they hosted and the open bar WITH Icelandic DJ they organised (!)

Thanks Dierdra & crew!

See you all next year! (?)
