Hello everyone,
i'm curious to know after all the time you had to fly them since they came out, what is now your favourite Strategic Cruiser and why.

What do you find to be the most effective for PVE or PVP, according to your style and why.
What do you find to be the most fun to fly (yet again PVP/PVE) and why.
Anything that come to your mind (and why Big smile )

Cheers.

I love the Legion, but it's really hard to find a niche for it. There aren't many EM-weak opponents that reward having a strong explosive resist.

The tengu would hold the crown imo although this is based on theory(haven't flown it yet). It is the one of the best pve boats available and definitely no slouch in pvp. Check out endless subversion's drake 3.0 for a glimpse of the pwnage they can achieve in pairs.

Imagine nano-shield Hurricanes firing Barrage are one.... But yeah you're right - on the whole its not as good as some other combinations could be!

I do love my Legion though. It isn't the fastest, it isn't the toughest, it doesn't do the most damage.... But it sure looks good kiting at 30km and firing away on targets with Scorch loaded!

I willfully engaged a 50-70 man blob at zero with my Proteus and survived... that made me like it a lot. I would have come away with some kills but they jammed me. Then again, they'd have killed me if they hadn't jammed me so its probably best that way.

lol

No, I meant it literally when I said I engaged at zero. It was a blaster proteus.

this is pretty accurate.

in order of awesomeness, id rate them like this:

proteus----------loki----tengu------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------legion

proteus is MADE for WHs.
it is far and away the best when it comes to close range PVP.

loki is close but is basically there for web support.

tengu is a weapon of choice for carebears everywhere.
also good for solo/gang nano *** pvp.

legion is crap.

The loki, it is my favorite and most used booster alt ship. In direct pvp I haven't found any of them particularly effective. For pve, the tengu maybe better but the legion isn't bad. The legion is the only subcapital pve ship I currently have. Can't fly a tengu with this toon.

Fireworks and snowballs are great, but what I really want is a corpse launcher.
