Hi guys, I am helping someone build a new corp and we have the following issue, how can we keep a nice clean record of everyone's api's and people we have blacklisted. We could use a spreadsheet but it looks awful we could use text documents but same problem.


I was thinking of an integrated tool, and have been working with some mockups in MS Access. Basicly you have a dashboard, on the dash board you can click a button to add a new api record, another button that brings up a form where you can search for records based on details such as toon names, or real name, and a blacklist button that links to a form that allows you to add someone to the black list. A query like device then shows all blacklisted people with data on the dash board. This way when we are looking at people we can automatically see if they are black listed.

The API part of the database, would track real name, email (just in case we need to get in touch with an a corp mate out of eve if they say stop playing for some reason), The name of up to three toons that they can have on their account, an indication as to if that account is their main account, and the api and vc.

the black list would show, known toon name, banned by, and reason.


Have talked to a few people i know who have been CEO's and they think it would make life easier, and could have the added bonus if designed well of being able to look up data based on a selected record that might be of interest like blue kills etc within the app or an export button that lets you view their api information in a third party tool like API Checker.


Im currently working on a MS Access db for my corp that would be closed source simply because it isnt something that is logistically easy to access. But I would love to make a web app like things that people could install on their VPS or web servers with groups like godaddy. How ever, as I understand that would requier working with things like SQL databases and PHP and that is out of my area of knowledge, if there are any programmers who think this might be an interesting idea would love to hear from you. Especially if you might be willing to work on a project like this, I would love to make it a freeware application for any corp in eve who wanted it.
