OP, can I have your stuff?

Also, get a real console so I can gank you in Destiny, which I'm downloading now (grumble grumble DLC grumble grumble)

Hello,

I have 3 accounts and 7 toons that i have unsubbed. This account is the last one and its subscription will soon lapse. I've been playing since 2010.

I used to love this game but have now been taken in by Destiny on ps4. I'll just list a few reasons why as they pertain to eve's gane style. For starters, I'm both in the military and a father, so I don't have the time to sit in front of my computer for hours. Destiny lets me play for an hour and then leave.

Second, I'm more of a PVE style player. I like destiny more because I'm not forced into PVP. Also, the PVE in destiny is amazing and the rewards are just as good as the PVP ones. CCP and the eve communtiy in general seem to hate PVErs that don't wish to partake in PVP while in destiny they are rewarded and accepted.

Third, destiny has a fantastic and friendly gaming community. Here on eve between the gankers, scammers, thieves and overall self-entitled jerks the communtiy on eve is generally hostile and toxic.

I might come back to play but for now im not sure. Also, bash me all you want because I won't give a ****.

And no, you cannot have my stuff.

Sounds like someone who would like soccer if people would just stop kicking the ball away from him...

I can't tell all you how happy I am to see people like this (people who didn't do their homework before downloading) F off from this game. Why more people (who hate the game like this guy does) don't F off I don't know.

One last thing...

Its people like you who are part of the reason why I'm leaving.

I'm not going to start a flame war. I said what I had to. Have a nice day.

Then mission accomplished.

I'm glad I can make you feel better about your personal failure in this regard (such as choosing to play a game you never should have downloaded in the 1st place, which you would have known if you weren't the type to blame others for your mistakes).

I like how not liking eve makes one an instant gratification loving asocial. I certainly understand finding the game less than desirable and leaving because it's not your cup of tea. That said, basically insulting someone who made that realization through ascribing his departure to imagined personal flaws only lends validity to the condemnation of the community.

This is a grown man, a service member (according to him) yet he can't manage his time well enough to play a video game that takes a big time investment, then complains about it on a forum instead of just leaving (which is a clear attempt at manipulation, people who don't like something usually just stop doing that something quietly).

You don't get more 'personal flaws' than that.

More flawed than say, instead of just letting him leave, feeling the need to come and throw some barbs at his back on the way out? I've never been a service member and thus won't speculate about time obligations and availability to game vs the choice of time management, but honestly, the better thing to do than inadvertently endeavor to prove his "manipulative" criticisms right is to not drop to the level he set you at.

At least that's my opinion.

Because he's not really leaving. Real quitters biomass after giving out stuff. This, is just a drama parade.

the op is the one who kicked the hornets nest. So its the ops issue, not ours that we think hes wrong and are glad to see him go.

Its like the dumb ass who gets pissed off at a store manger for there mistake, and threaten to never shop there again and walk out. He made the scene, hes gonna get the looks and comments.

We (theoretical we, not talking for everyone) really don;t give a **** why hes leaving. Nor where he is going. He chose to air his laundry, hes gonna get the replies.

And the toxicity is form him, so there is that.

Exactly, random dude 1 is leaving a space based mmo strategy game for a FPS... and we should care why?

Last year, it hurt my eyes to read this. It still does.

Destiny Revenue Hits $500 Million in 24hrs

Really, this is what people want?

One play session is about all I could take of it before round filing it.
