Hello everyone, Big smile

So recently i've been trying to find out what makes these nullsec bots tick -Yes Delve i'm looking at you- (Out of an extreme craving to obliterate them and put an end to their operations) and report them appropriately.

So far I've found several key traits:

Machariel gangs, solo/grouped: Will almost always be in a pos by the time you get in system, normally this would seem like they were afk, except the system NPC counter Still increases significantly after leaving said system, these Machariels almost always have near identical names and always use the same pos.
The machariel bots that split up an do sites solo, seem to reactivate after a period between 5-10 minutes (Hard to pin an exact time)
Where as the gangs tend to wait 10mins+

Encountered one mach gang (which splits up to do individual sites) Which occassionally asked questions to the other bots. I caught it out when it repeated the same questions 20 minutes later.P

Catching the machariel bots has been made much harder, as now they warp faster than most battleships, meaning there is a tiny window of oppourtunity.

Archons
So far found 2 botting archons, both with 6 minutes reactivation timers, neither had any record of combat in 2 years of playing (losses or kills) and Warped immediately upon a threat logging in (with no drones ever left behind). Theory was tested consecutively using a MEDIUM WARP BUBBLE. Archon continued to land in bubble a further 1 time before it entered a prolonged inactive state....15 minutes later the site with the bubble was completed.

It seems quite difficult even with bubbles to pin down bots, especially the ones that rat in groups (raw dps of a ratting machx6 is a bit too much to drop on with small numbers)

Does anyone have any other info that may ease catching these bots out, or any other detectable traits?
Would be greatly appreciated to find a more effecient way of catching these things.

Shield are red, Armor is too, i slapped my heavy neut, all over you. Fingers crossed, broken shattered and burned, across from the bubble and into your hull.

If you manage to catch 6 machariels you could easily kill them even with a small gang.
The majority of the bots I encountered either logged or went idle when tackled.

Another way to catch them would be to anchor a bubble 300km off their pos (outside gun ranges) in the anomaly direction and logoff, when you log back they should land in the bubble.

Also nowadays botters are using random timers (and sometimes they warp to random anomalies)
