Hush you. Caldari needs another large alliance to flood Jita with Caldari made goods until the market gloats and we stay in t1 for another year to make up for the low ISK:LP ratio.

This has all happened before . . .

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, [u]please[/u] give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.

No we don't. And if we did we would never admit it because we would be admitting our utter inability to confront Galmil without a massive numbers advantage and cap/supercap batphones on stand-by. And while we may be godawful at actual combat, we do have a passing familiarity with basic propaganda which we picked up through our CFC alts.
